SonnyCrockettBurnett01
What is the episode that you think is the worst episode of "Miami Vice"? Mine personally is a tie between "The Big Thaw", "Missing Hours" and "The Cows Of October".
Vincent Hanna
The underrated worst episode goes to.."A cell within"It makes "The Big Thaw" look like a masterpiece, at least that is watchable."Vote of confidence, Honor Among thieves & Hell hath no fury" are some of the worst too, the latter was so awful that Don flubs a line or two(It's in the shooting range scene). Seriously that's how bored he is.:cry:I feel bad dissing our favourite show, so now I have an urge to watch some of the best episodes. always something good to come out of it. M.A.Castillo
Yeah, it has to be 'Missing Hours' for me too.'The Big Thaw' probably comes second.Like I've said before about 'The Cows of October', I don't think that it's that bad, really. :)There are some other episodes that I don't like that much, such as 'Honor Among Thieves' and probably a few others, butI have to agree with 'Missing Hours' being the worst episode of Vice. ---Speaking of THE BEST of Vice episodes, they're airing 'Bad Timing' today on television! DA_PAUL2
While it was no shakespeare performance i love James Brown so missing hours doesn't rank in the worst for me lol-deffo cows of oct and the big thaw for me-i fell asleep through both-seriously.The fact both of them were in the same season-OMG!!! Kavinsky
I think by far the one that did the most damage was none of the above, I think Reb Browns episode, Viking Bikers From Hell is what started vices downfall period after all the guy is one hell of a laughabile actor who's biggest claim to fame is this : and until his episode all of the episodes before his were atleast solid and you could take them seriously in there designated context and his episode given the solid content and big changes in S3 is I think what kicked vices downfall off. you know I can just imagine the shocked looks on peoples faces after watching Knock Knock whos there, a very good and strong episode the week before back in 87' and then Seeing that AHHHH!!!! block of meat attack Sonny probably undid all of the progress and seriousness of S3 in one solid wack for everyone. and then only to have all of those following weird, iffy or bad episodes in S4 follow it well, it certainly didnt help, although I wouldnt blame Reb really even though I dont like him, I'd blame the casting department for casting him period! M.A.Castillo
Heh, shows that how different tastes people can have, 'cause 'Viking Bikers from Hell' happens to be one of my personal favorite season 3 episodes.
SonnyCrockettBurnett01
"Viking Bikers From Hell" is an awesome episode! Especially Jan's cues, and using more of his keytar is unbelievably amazing
Pilsener
I think The Big Thaw is quite funny, but it's probably because I think Izzy is hilarious.
Leigh Burne
Missing Hours was just appalling and easily the worst in my mind. A shame because James Brown could've had a great role on the show with a different script. The only other episode I regularly refuse to watch is The Big Thaw.As an aside, I know Season 5 gets a lot of stick for being crap but I just don't see it, it's one of my favourite seasons from the show. Sure, the scripts are mostly just recycling earlier episodes, but I love how bleak it is.

Season 5 didn't offer much iconic vice but at least most of the episodes are at least watchable.

The earlier seasons may undeniably have the classic episodes, but you'd have all this terrible stuff happening to Crockett and Tubbs and by the time you get to the next episode they've just shrugged it off and moved on, and it gets a bit ridiculous after a while. In the final season you really get the impression it's all getting too much for them, and I like that. Plus, while they may not be classics, Hostile Takeover, Over the Line, Too Much, Too Late and Freefall are some of my favourites from the entire series, just because everything goes wrong in them and they have real consequences. Guest myonlyvice
Leap of Faith is the worst.....Crockett & Tubbs are not seen much! "Leap of Faith" IS the worst. I refer to it as "Heap of Filth". It was nothing but a dirty trick. Since my initial viewing of it I have steadfastly refused to watch it again. In fact, I am convinced that the viewing of this episode by anybody, or even the mere acknowledgement of its existence, results in the diminishment of Vice's greatness.* *Please excuse any diminishment incurred through the foregoing. **Final tip: Regarding this thing, the protocol that I recommend is one of neither confirming nor denying its existence. Leigh Burne
"Leap of Faith" IS the worst. I refer to it as "Heap of Filth".I dunno. I see your argument' date=' but at least it has a script that actually revolves around a vice investigation. I'd take that over aliens or frozen reggae singers any day, that stuff has [i']no place in Miami Vice.

Lar
Hostile Takeover, Over the Line, Too Much, Too Late and Freefall are some of my favourites from the entire series, just because everything goes wrong in them and they have real consequences.Agreed 100%. I love season five. Bad Timing, The Lost Madonna, Victims Of Circumstance, Over The Line, Line Of Fire, Borrasca, Asian Cut, and of course Freefall, all eps I really enjoy. MV was always a pretty dark show, but S5, man, it can be positively bleak. I think that's one of the reasons it gets a bad rep, but frankly, I've always really enjoyed the season. There's plenty of good stuff in S3, and S4 isn't all bad, but seasons one, two, and five are all I need, and if I was being conservative, I could live with just S1 and S5 eps.All that said, the worst ep? Absolutely Missing Hours. What a slap in the face to MV fans. The only episode I flat out refuse to watch ever again. I'll watch a marathon of The Big Thaw, Cows Of October, Leap Of Faith & Miracle Man before I'll even *think* about watching Missing Hours. It takes a lot for me to not like anything with James Brown in it, but Missing Hours does it. Chris Rock is completely wasted in the ep, as well.Leap Of Faith is up there, too, but it just doesn't match the same heights of badness. Oh sure, it sucks, no question, but at least it's kinda Vice-ish, and it has Kiel Martin of Hill Street Blues fame, shortly before he died. He doesn't save the episode, but I consider MV and HSB to be two of the most innovative, if not THE most innovative, dramas ever, so that connection holds some interest to me. vikingbikerREB
I, Reb, feels hurt that somebody would think that Viking Bikers From Hell is one of the worst episodes of Vice and that I can't act. I think not. I mean who else can rip their shirt off and say the line, "I must have been rehabilitated.", better than me? Nobody. That being said the worst Vice episodes ever are Missing Hours, Amen... Send Money, The Big Thaw, Cows of October, Tale of the Goat, The Cell Within, and Honor Among Thieves. Note: I've never looked at Leap of Faith as an actual Vice episode. To me its a pilot of a rather poor spinoff of Miami Vice and its a really, really bad spinoff. Tommy Vercetti
I think the worst episodes are the usual ones mentioned - Missing Hours, The Big Thaw, Cows of October and so on. Leap of Faith is a guilty pleasure for me. I don't mind that episode. I can watch it. I like Joey Harden as a character and Keith Gordon is good in the episode too. Vicefan7777
Many "good?" choices for the worst episode have already been listed. However, my personal favorite for being totally unwatchable is "A Bullet for Crockett". To me it feels like the writers totally had a brain fart and could not think of anything new. Have a few minutes of new stuff and rehash the rest of the show with scenes from the previous years. When i am in the mood to watch a few episodes I will completely ignore this one and move on to the next.
Victor
for me there will be always The Cows of October as the episode which I can skip and feel no remorse by doing so.
Vincent Hanna
I know some people love Season 5 but 95% of those eps deserve to be in the running for worst of all time

Additional gimmick in the german version: Some scenes from the previous years show content, which was cutted within the single episodes...
