  1. Any mid season 2 Crockett with the hair and Raybans is quite a remarkable image. There never had been, and there never will be anything else like it.

  2. Some really cool info by Saundra, she shared on my insta post. Sonny and Gina. "This was 8am after all night shoot! Andy Garcia who lived nearby and was not famous then came by to say hello. He was watching us shoot a shootout! I knew him through Steven Bauer. I love this image"

  3. Ever noticed in “Streetwise” when Butch (Tubbs) says to Trudy “Why don’t you lean on in here and give me a kiss?” And she says “ha! You had your chance” and she walks off? I think she’s referring to that scene.

  7. I agree excellent writing and scene with the two leads. It was great how Crockett was feeling disjointed already by mid Season 2 something we would see built upon in Seasons 3-4 to complete burn out by Season 5. The best. 10\10

  10. One of my favorite lines from this episode... TUBBS: "I'm gonna be wearing an Armani blazer. You're gonna be wearing a wire."

  11. I thought she was very pretty, but her voice sounds like she lives off whiskey and cigarettes (kind of like Crockett, lol).

  12. Love Candy, The Golden Triangle wouldn't be the same without her. Courtney Love once said about her "I swear to God I've never seen an actress like this. She's Mick Jagger plus Marilyn Monroe."

  26. Notice Sonny leaves his gold rolex behind, what he's wearing there is probably a casio he borrowed off Zito

  27. He looked confused and lost at first, and then horrified. You're right. It was sad.

  28. She struck me as someone who got swept up in the bright lights and excitement and didn't realize it came with a cost until it was too late. Her kinky side always seemed very desperate to me, almost an attempt to find some feeling or meaning in a life that had been consumed by games and masks.

  32. RedDragon, I've made a few trailers for Crime Story episodes. This was my latest. "Top of the World", from season one. It was the only Crime Story episode Michael Mann directed. Thanks for sharing that great image of Michael Wincott! He is always so memorable in his roles, even in the latest Jordan Peele film, "Nope".

  40. I think, it's from the episode "Sons and Lovers," when Tubbs tells Crockett he has a son.

  45. Another strong and great episode made after "Brother's Keeper." With to me an unexpected shocking and sad ending. Did Artie end up killing himself because, he was filled with guilt of all the crimes he had committed during his time undercover or was it just a realization of that he couldn't go back to an ordinary life?

  46. LOL! Sonny always did that "roll-on-the-tounge" thing with his cigarette! I can think of about 5 or six times he did that! Great dialogue during this scene. (If they can't deliver, the customers will shiver...or something like that) "You're a poet, RIco." "And my mama knows it!"
