  1. As I get older and on my current rewatching of the show, I truly find myself loving Lt. Castillo even more as the show goes on. It's like the meme once said (Childhood is when you idolise Batman, Adulthood is when you understand the Joker). In this case it's childhood is when you idolise Crockett, adulthood is understanding Lt. Castillo. Chip in your favourite Castillo staredown/moments in the series:

  3. It was really exciting to read this article. And for the first time seeing Edward Olmos amongst the cast! Now we only have Don and Phillip left to join the reunion. Who knows, maybe next year? Notice the Miami Vice t-shirts on the team behind the Miami Vice Comic. Some unanswered questions for the Vice Squad gets revealed and more....... Read more below
  4. Found these clips (Miami Vice related) on YouTube of an interview Olmos gave, that were posted by EMMYTVLEGENDS on July 28. Enjoy! He talks about how he finally accepted the role (he explains what he was doing beforehand and why he was very reluctant to accept the offers), the changes he made to his character and the set (Castillo's office), how he clashed with Don Johnson, and the tension on the production set. Edit: After looking a bit further, the full interview was done around June 2013. ...Whoops. Sorry if these clips were posted elsewhere on the forums.
