I was browsing the reviews of the Mulhouse automobile museum on Google. as i was thinking of visiting it eventually, and it has a world reputation. And among the reviews i came across a guy saying that the museum has a small autodrome where you can drive rare cars for a fee. And guess what, among the possibilities no Mc Burnie replica thought

funny enough i made that discovery while searching info about the 288 GTO, after having seen 308 GTS clips on theses forums. it's in French, but it globally says that Ferrari.. forgot to acquire the rights about the name. and meanwhile a Deutschland toys company owned the rights. so the chances for Ferrari to make a new testarossa model are very small. unless they decide to try their last chance, and go to the supreme court. but as the toys company didn't do anything illegal, i think the chances for Ferrari to be heard are pretty small. So I'm on Season 3's opener "When Irish Eyes Are Crying", and I'm curious what people's opinions are on both colors for the Testarossa. After watching it, I think that it actually wouldn't look too bad in Black but it just looks kinda odd having a tan interior with a hardtop to me. Them going to a white color is better looking with the interior being tan but it looks better (convertible) on the Daytona rather than the Testarossa in my opinion. What're y'all's thoughts?

I finally finished improving my 1/18 Kyosho Testarossa. I was waiting many years for the best model in 1/18. The best in my opinion is from Kyosho. Unfortunately, it is not perfect and had to do some serious customization to the model in order to look as close as the real car. Changing Euro to US spec was easy, the front lower lights was quite a challange. Adding the corner windows on the doors was also daring. The flying mirrow needed to be repositioned, Kyosho put it too high. The original rims look awful, while trying fixing, I ended up ruined them. After a couple of years I finally got a cheap Hot Wheels elite Testarossa and replaced the rims. The ones from HW look much more defined and detailed. With careful sanding and cutting, I could put the Kyosho tires on the HW rims and now the car looks nice as I always wanted.

During Season 1 and 2 Sonny Crockett drives a Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Replica (called Daytona because of Ferrari's triple triumph in Daytona in 1967). The Replica was made by McBurnie Coachcraft using a Corvette chassis and original Ferrari body parts. Though Crockett gets his new car in a later episode (Stone's War) the car can already be seen in When Irish eyes are crying. In this episode it's a mobster's black (!) car which will be confiscated by the Vice Departement later and placed at Crockett's disposal for undercover work. Ferrari provided the show with two (!) Testarossas which weren't of course used in dangerous stunts. For this purpose the Carl Roberts Motor Group build a stunt car using a 1972 DeTomaso Pantera chassis and Original Testarossa body parts. In the shots the stunt car can be regognized by its full drop center rims. The originally black Testarossa was revarnished white allegedly - to be better seen in night shots.
