Suddenly, Frank Mosca, Crockett's old enemy reappears in Miami and seems to be one of Cook's clients. Mosca makes a pass on Gina who takes the chance to nail him. But Mosca has someone at the District attorney's office on his payroll and is able to unveil Gina's cover... Gina ist auf Wilson Cook angesetzt, der sein schmutziges Geld von anderen waschen läßt. Da taucht Frank Mosca, der Mafioso, mit dem Crockett noch eine alte Rechnung offen hat, wieder in Miami auf. Mosca ließ damals einen Freund von Crockett, der Hauptzeuge im Prozeß gegen ihn war, ermorden. Es konnte ihm aber nichts nachgewiesen werden. Mosca findet gefallen an Gina, die das Spiel mitspielt, um Mosca diesmal zu überführen. Aber durch ein Leck bei der Staatsanwaltschaft fliegt ihre Tarnung auf. Jetzt muß Crockett schnell handeln... This is a strong episode with all ingredients of classical VICE: one goes undercover, gets exposed and has to play along even if you find the target disgusting. The writers planned to have Gina raped at first, but in view of the storyline Give a little, take a little they changed it. The outcome is the only weak spot of the episode. Gina’s voluntary give-away seems hard to believe given that she had experienced such a dramatic situation once before. Therefore, I downgraded this show to 4 stars for a solid show with good music, strong optics and dialogues. Starkes Ende des Mosca-Stoffs. Die Folge hat alle Bestandteile von klassischem VICE: man schleusst sich ein, wird entdeckt und muss gute Miene zum bösen Spiel machen. Ursprünglich wollte man Gina wieder vergewaltigen lassen, dann besann man sich, dass ein zweites Mal unglaubwürdig ist und schrieb es auf ein freiwilliges Mitmachen um. Trotzdem bleibt fraglich, wieso Gina dies als Profipolizistin ein zweites Mal geschehen lassen sollte, wo sie nicht wirklich verliebt wirkt? Das hat den 5. Stern gekostet.
