Manning has become a successful writer and publishes his biography with the main message to society being he has changed completely in jail. Manning invites Rico to his house to a dinner party. When arriving there, Tubbs recognizes he is the only guest ... Manning lädt Rico in sein Haus zu einem Dinner ein. Als Tubbs dort ankommt, bemerkt er, daß er der einzige Gast ist. In den nächsten Stunden macht er Bekanntschaft mit dem Irrsinn des Jake Manning... Additional comment: Zusatzinformation: This show and the next were filmed simultaneously in order to catch up with the tight shooting schedule of this season. This worked out, because Crockett's appearance in this show is limited to a few scenes whereas Tubbs appears only in a few scenes in the next episode. Thus, one shooting unit per lead actor was sent out on location. Additionally, most locations in both episodes are very close to each other, for example the house used as Manning residence and the one used for Escondero. Dies war möglich, da Crockett's Auftritte in dieser Folge auf ein paar Szenen begrenzt war und Tubbs nur in einigen Szenen der nächsten Folge. Daher wurde eine Dreheinheit pro Hauptdarsteller eingesetzt. zudem waren viele Drehorte nahe beieinander, so z.B. das Haus, das als Manning's Residenz diente und das, das für Escondero benutzt wurde. Ryan is a good fitting guest star for the character of the freaky ex-con. A major part of the show plays in his house therefore this show heavily lacks diversion. Crockett is again nearly absent; therefore the episode is not remembered as typical. There is cool optics and a good Truman score during the boat scenes in the beginning. A bit too long (47 minutes)! John P. Ryan ist die Idealbesetzung für die Rolle des reuigen Straftäters, der Selbstjustiz übt. Der Grossteil der Folge spielt in seinem Haus, daher ist die Folge wenig abwechslungsreich. Crockett tritt wieder kaum in Erscheinung, daher bleibt die Folge nicht als typische Episode in Erinnerung. Die Truman Musik zu Beginn bei der Bootsfahrt ist gut gelungen.
