The true crime is Mann and Russell Crowe not winning oscars for "The Insider". agent 47 Posted September 15, 2015 Report Share Posted September 15, 2015 Meh, any film that has a trace of fun in it will always have difficulty winning an Oscar. Then again this didn't get a single Oscar nomination and yet Batman Forever got three nominations for best sound, sound effects editing and cinematography so I guess Mann must've ticked someone off. On a happier note glad to see in the article linked that Fox will be putting out a new special edition Blu-ray next year, hope it's a 4K restoration like the Goodfellas release Warner put out earlier this year.
