airtommy Posted November 13, 2015 Report Share Posted November 13, 2015 The BBC show "Top Gear" wanted to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Ferrari Daytona. They decided to have the Ferrari race against a XSR 48 powerboat along the Riviera from Portofino to Saint-Tropez. They don't mention Miami Vice at all, but this seems to be an homage to MV since MV featured a Ferrari Daytona and "Brother's Keeper" had that thrilling race between a boat and a car (a Camaro, not the Ferrari).
