C Glide
Yes, nice, but of course this is the new bridge and not the one seen in Vice.

TylerDurden389
Hey!! I used to go to the Coral Gables Arthouse Cinema after work on Saturday nights right across the street from that bookstore!! They're still chugging along even after the P-word, and they're still playing classic films. I'd love to get down there but even without traffic it would be like an hour drive now. Tom
Another MV landmark bit the dust: the Manning villa at 3570 Battersea Rd has been razed recently. See the sad state and the 2022 state that looks like in this episode. Edited May 22, 2023 by Tom
Tom
The production rundown of this episode that was filmed concurrently with Jack of all trades (where there is hardly any Tubbs whereas here there is hardly any Crockett), 16-23 January 1989 Location list is quite short as this gotta be the episode with most studio filming. Day1 Monday 16 January 1989, filming in studio from 9:58 am until 9:28 pm (cell scenes, execution chamber, ...) Day 2, Tue 17 January, filming in studio from 11:09 am until 10:30pm (again cell and chamber scenes, hallway, ..) Day 3, Wed 18 January, filming in studio from 1:26 pm until 12:30 am (Manning´s study scenes) Day 4, Thu 19 January, filming on location at Mannings house (bedroom, hallway, foyer and final scenes in front of the house) from 3:12 pm until 4 am. Day 5, Fri 20 January, filming at Merrill Stevens Boatyard (the teaser and opening credits scene, Phelps takes boat to Manning). For some reason the production office archived the wrong daily here from Jack of all trades that shot at the same time and had that filming day at the Fairmont where Crockett saved his cousin. Day 6, last day, Monday 23 January, filming at Lincoln Road (Phelps room, chase) and then in studio (int. Manning´s study). Filming from 8:55 am until 8:30 pm, with company moving from location to studio in between (no time given) ENJOY the insights, next episode soon.

Fascinating to read the fine detail involved in a weekly series. Plus the long hours of work. Thanks for posting.
