If this is the Toronto area you're referring to, I had spent a number of weeks there on business back in the day but always in the winter for some reason. It was snowy but then I live near Chicago where we occasionally get blizzards and often very cold temps. I remember Toronto as very clean and modern, with great restaurants. LB was pretty good beer too as I recall, but I have eventual plans to move south....way south if I can make it work with a jobs change.
