jpaul1
and you had enough money to fullfill your dreams, which one would you choose. for main house or secondary residence. well for me no hesitating, i'd rent a room form time to time at Deering park and i'd buy Castillo's house at 3351 Poinciana, Coconut Grove for secondary residence 2
Vicefan7777
I would choose the house that Phil the Shill was occupying.

miamijimf
Great photos of the Deering Estate jpm1. Can I use the first one in my book? My first choice would be this house. Anyone recognize it?
Vincent Hanna
I liked Brenda's house, the interior looked cool and she had a nice pool.

C Glide
Looks like a bidding war about to happen as I am with Daytona 74. Key Biscayne, Calderone's house, etc. 485 Matheson. Own heli-pad, best view. Then Pine Tree drive as second, from Freefall. Or could I just buy the Biltmore.

Hmmm, I love all these choices, but for the sake of discussion I'm going to go a different route. I haven't outgrown my childish love of secret hideouts, so I'm going to choose the OCB / Miami Shipyard. Not in its glory days, but in its final days as an abandoned building so I can hide there like Ray Quick in "The Specialist".

Daytona74
Or maybe if my busy schedule as a multi millionaire only permitted me to spend time in Miami occasionally, a condo at the Atlantis would do, for starters: I just hope they've got better security there nowadays... after the Castranova disaster...

If a 1990's Sharon Stone was included it would seal the deal for me. I like open concept floorplans. I think I would pick Phil's hangout but decorated a bit differently. Either that or the hotel room with the green shag carpeting from S2 Buddies. Edited August 17, 2017 by IA-SteveB

jpaul1
@ miamijimf: of course @ airtommy: your post made me think more in deep about my choices. and i think i'd hesitate a lot between Castillo home, and a stiltville's stilthouse as secondary residence. first i'd get some info about how it is when bad weather. and if it's ok, yeah a stilthouse would do it nice my paradise 2
Vincent Hanna
^Do people actually live in those stiltville houses? It must be horribly inconvenient to go grocery shopping etc. It seems like a place that was built exclusively for the use of drug running, but they do look cool so there's that. Also, don't these houses just get blown away by every other hurricane that hits the area??
IA-SteveB
I hope you don't sleepwalk living in a stilt house.
Scot from S.C.
I would pick Zito's house from the episode "Made for Each Other" or Tubbs' place. I hope that got a few chuckles. Noogie's place was in the (cool) running with the above places too. Haha.
vicegirl85
I always thought Gina's apartment building was super-cute on the outside; the interior shots of her unit had a cool retro look in the episode "Bought and Paid For". I have no idea if the "interior" shots belonged to that building or were a set (of course I suspect a set!) but I always liked it.
jpaul1
i think people use stitlhouses for short holidays. i mean you can't do much more.. you can take your shower and do the washing at the port. but with no real electrical installation, it's cool for 2 weeks max. i think i read somewhere there's a restaurant for fishermen there. they have probably solar panels, or maybe a generator. and yeah definitely not a place to go when an hurricane is approching. unless you are on a bad depression, and you want to end it up. yeah Gina place is definitely a place i could live in too. my parents home in Colombia in the 80s was looking a lot to this Edited August 17, 2017 by jpm1

Matt5
I would say the Turnberry Isle Marina condo ( north tower) in Aventura . It was one of the buildings most featured in the show. I think as it was featured so heavily is a factor I like the building so much ("Golden Triangle, Pt 1), "Junk Love"' , "Phil the Shill" and "Over the Line" Aventura is quieter and near enough to great areas such as North Beach and Miami .
