Kirsty&Rich
During our 2 week trip to Miami we decided to take a trip to Puerto Rico(Cartagena according to Vice ) for the day and managed to get a little Vice Locations in while we were there. The following is the hotel that Crockett and Tubbs stay in before their drug deal, as you can see the hotel is no longer there we believe that it and the house next door were damaged during Hurricane Andrew '92.The first picture is the current view and the other is a still direct from Smugglers Blues

Kirsty&Rich
This is a view from where Crockett was parked waiting and watching Tubbs.Funnily enough if you turn left here and follow the road along it brings you up the slope to where Crockett and Tubbs first drive up to the Hotel in the taxi from the airport. Kirsty&Rich
Honestly its the most amazing and beautiful place we have ever been too. It was well worth the trip over there. It wasnt really a trip just for Vice but it was worth it. We tried to find the place where Tubbs is locked up in jail but looking at the pics we've taken of where it was we're struggling to match them up. We know it was filmed at El Morro but it's so big and there's two parts to it.

kaloo28
Great pics! Its always so interesting to see how things have changed or moved on from when they shot at locations. Like you mentioned things like Hurricanes could have just flattened buildings or locations. Its also interesting to see how Trees or shurbs at locations have grown or remained the same. Great! Matt5
Even Tubbs' first hiding place is still there although slightly changed from its original lookIs this in the same building , as what was the police headquarters in your main pic , or if not where is this located in relation to the red building in your first pic. Always amazes me how they make everything look so huge, when in fact the buildings are right on top of wach other!
Matt5
Ok - thanks so in your first pic of the main building which acted as "St Gerard Police Station " it would be past the double gargages somewhere behind the big tree?

How did you track down the PR locations?
Kirsty&Rich
It's funny because we found the locations by acciedent. We booked a trip to PR as we always wanted to go there. We just came across them when we were sight seeing in old San Juan. We knew that Smugglers Blues was filmed in PR as Rick Bravo had mentioned it on his site ages ago. We kept our eyes open and took pictures of anything that looked familiar. We didn't have a clue where anything was we just played it by ear. PR is a beautiful place and old San Juan is gorgeous. We didn't go there for Vice locations in paticular but when we saw them we thought we may as well take the pictures. The cemetary was very distinctive. We knew that was the same one used in MV as soon as we saw it.Will share more photos shortly. We have loads of Miami too. We climbed the light house and got some really cool pictures of Stiltsville. SOFLO is amazing. If only we could live there!
