I'd post a picture of my 1996 Mitsubishi Lancer 2 door, but it didn't make it past inspection this year;( I traded it in for a 2010 Kia cerato Koup (yes Coup with a K, ugh!). A very average car but all I could afford.

I miss my Lancer though. In it's prime it was like me: sporty-looking but zero guts when you put your foot down:p

What a way to describe yourself! tsk tsk! Wish you had a photo of it! We've got a Mitsi Barbarian, very good for collecting scrap wood which it's frequently used for!

Here's my car. A Range Rover in its fave place, getting refueled!

Preaching to the converted here, mate! We've had two , in the days when rusting tailgates were inevitable. Mind you they were the only automatics I ever enjoyed driving and had lovely precise steering.

You asked for it so here is my ride - a 1999 Ford F-150 pick up V-8, 280k miles, still runs fine and it's paid for.  No rifle rack in the back window.

Jim, I have a red 1999, F-150 with about 225K and is my weekend Warrior. Although with gas the way it is now, I’m driving the car for a lot better gas mileage.

i was looking a documentary on TV. And this is what they were saying. EU laws are becoming so restricitive right now that vintage cars will, in a not so far future, not be able to go down the roads anymore. unless they get a modification

Reminds me of the Rush song, "Red Barchetta"

My uncle has a country place, that no-one knows about
He says it used to be a farm, before the Motor Law
Sundays I elude the ‘Eyes’, and hop the Turbine Freight
To far outside the Wire, where my white-haired uncle waits

Jump to the ground
As the Turbo slows to cross the borderline
Run like the wind
As excitement shivers up and down my spine
Down in his barn
My uncle preserved for me an old machine –
For fifty-odd years
To keep it as new has been his dearest dream

I strip away the old debris, that hides a shining car
A brilliant red Barchetta, from a better, vanished time
Fire up the willing engine, responding with a roar!
Tires spitting gravel, I commit my weekly crime…

Wind in my hair –
Shifting and drifting –
Mechanical music
Adrenalin surge –

Well-weathered leather
Hot metal and oil
The scented country air
Sunlight on chrome
The blur of the landscape
Every nerve aware

Suddenly ahead of me, across the mountainside
A gleaming alloy air-car shoots towards me, two lanes wide
I spin around with shrieking tires, to run the deadly race
Go screaming through the valley as another joins the chase

Drive like the wind
Straining the limits of machine and man
Laughing out loud
With fear and hope, I’ve got a desperate plan
At the one-lane bridge
I leave the giants stranded
At the riverside
Race back to the farm
To dream with my uncle
At the fireside…

I miss owning this. I didn't want to sell it but my hand was forced. I was trading cars at the time but as I wanted to keep it I advertised it for twice its value. An Asian guy drove two hours to come and see it and offered me full asking price for it so I had to sell it to him. It lasted six months before getting scrapped.

Another car I regret selling and was pressured into letting go due to a stupidly high offer. Pic isn't of the actual car but an identical example.

Picture the scene. It's 2003. Vice City is top of the gaming charts and MV is having a resurgence due to reruns on TV. I own this BMW that myself and a friend name Black Velvet because Black Velvet by Alanah Myles was the number 1 song on the day it was first registered. After months of a co worker BEGGING me to sell it to him I finally give in. He wraps it around a tree in less than a month.

My wife and I both drive Honda Accords.  Reliable...but not too exciting.  So I posted a pic of my other ride.  For now it's resting on our movie shelf...but, maybe one day!

When that day comes and gasoline is no more, I'll be like Mad Max. Cruising the highways of electric cars, looking for a tank of juice! ;)

My 2013 Mustang rag top. Between the car with the top down and some of my wardrobe ensemble, even at 57, I still get the looks from the girls. Bouncing around Phoenix with Vice tunes playing and dressed in "the style" is a fun time.

I'd like a Mustang as well! You see a few round where I live even though I'm in the UK.

Me too :) ! I don't think electric cars will ever really take off though fortunately, given their disadvantages, which are  many!

We get about 40-42 mpg in the Mitsubishi Barbarian! Used turn and turn about with the other cars ...but not bad for a big pick up, I think.

In the early nineties this was my pride and joy;

Cherie.JPG.bea893d22b7d263c889c7382bbc1fc5a.JPG

With a tiny 540cc, 3 cylinder two-stroke engine it could still go anywhere. Her name was Cherie.

Both her and the shipwreck behind are long gone.;(

That's an insanely good song (and album, Moving Pictures).

Life is not the same anymore after Neil died and Rush quit. :(

This is clever.  :)

This guy inserted a photo of his own Mercedes to make it look like the freeze frame right before the end credits of a Miami Vice episode.

Ok this is not my car today.  I drive a full bed pickup truck.  But this was my car in the 80's.  It was a 1977 Chrysler Cordoba.  It had a 400 cubic inch V8.  That engine never failed me, even in the sub zero temperatures of North Dakota while I was stationed at Minot AFB. I treated it with love.  I wish I still had it.
