I know this is an old thread which I ran across while looking for something entirely different, and I think there is no doubt you matched the location, but here's a bit more evidence. The attached two aerials (below) show the same location (2616 Aqua Vista Blvd, Fort Lauderdale) in 2014 (color, from Google) and in 1969 (b/w from historicaerials.com). If you compare the older b/w aerial with the car-in-driveway picture in post #21 above, you can see the near perfect match.
