Well, that's how congress passed Obama's stimulous bill. It was URGENT to pass it RIGHT NOW!!!!!Nobody in congress read all of it. Nobody. The original aim of the NHS:'universal health care, free at the point of usage' This was 60 years ago...all very noble.But I can't get an appointment with GP for 4 weeks & if i want a hip replacement i have to wait 2-3 years& god help you if you want to have a baby. My sister in law went into hospital last week to be induced & had to wait 4 days because there weren't enough midwives to attend to her. Sat in an NHS hospital bed for 4 days costing the NHS £2000 a day because of mis-management & a heamorrhaging of staff due to poor pay & conditions.
