COOPER&BURNETT
Ready for this?WASHINGTON – In a chilling forecast, the White House is predicting a 10-year federal deficit of $9 trillion — more than the sum of all previous deficits since America's founding. And it says by the next decade's end the national debt will equal three-quarters of the entire U.S. economy.Your children's, children's, children's, children's, children's children will not be able to pay this off. This is not a high summit we need to climb, it's a rising continent.So. where are those who scolded our last bad president about how much his adminstration was spending? Why are they silent now? Where are the war protesters now?Speak up America. I don't think THIS is what you voted for.
Richie Rich
Ready for this?Speak up America. I don't think THIS is what you voted for.So true' date=' Coop. So true.To all the young people who voted for him, I know that I will never say that their vote was a mistake. This was, and is, a smooth operator, who turned on all the charm he could muster up, and they believed his messsage, and believed that change was needed, and that is why they voted for him. I will never demean them by saying they made a mistake voting for him. He is now being revealed as [i']not a moderate (as he portrayed himself in the '08 campaign), but an extreme liberal. He still wants income redistribution and a huge increase in benefits for the poor (and 15 million illegal immigrants) at the expense of totally trashing the economy when we are still trying to claw our way out of a recession. One of the most vocal ones, Cindy Sheehan, is on Martha's Vineyard protesting outside the president's vacation mansion (just like she did outside of Bush's ranch). Also, I sure do hope that people wake-up before it's too late. If 10% of what this Wall Street Journal Op-Ed about healthcare rationing is true, we're all doomed! http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970203706604574374463280098676.html
COOPER&BURNETT
We don't currently have the votes to stop HEALTH CARE, but letting them know we will vote them out of a job if they vote it in, and letting our voices be heard, CAN very well make a difference. Richie Rich
Thanks for the link, Frey.I'd like to tell Doc Emanuel to take his "complete lives system" and stuff it where the sun don't shine. What a bozo. I hope my Dr. strictly applies the Hippocratic Oath, and gets me the care I need. My Dr. should care about me, and not what the Obama admin. might think about my care. This admin. is about as out of touch with the American people as Andrew Johnson - and he was out of touch because he was drunk all the time. That puts these 2 Presidents at about the same level, competency-wise.

When I recovered 4 months later, my doc couldn't tell my parents how long I'd live, since what caused the kidney failure was a rare bactierial disease and (at the time, late 70's) had a low rate of survival. Using his method of "care", I'd be deemed expendable and worse, a "burden to society" and would be left to die.

Richie Rich
WSJ: Can His Presidency Be Saved?http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970203706604574370832806338544.htmlEven in the midst of a Republican resurgence, Mr. Clinton would go on from the defeat to become the first Democrat since FDR to be elected to two terms. By contrast, Mr. Obama's handling of the health-care debate—making villains out of cable television and insurance companies, questioning the motives of those who disagree, imposing artificial deadlines—suggests a rigidity typically associated with a lack of executive experience and responsibility. Was that ever spot on. Is President Obama a shrewd enough politician to learn and change from this experience? Or is he blinded by his own charisma into thinking he must fight for what he wants at all cost or he's lost? Hope it's not the latter. We will ALL suffer if it is.Obama, Pelosi and Reid are driving this country HARD LEFT into a socialist country and unless the American people take back control from these elitist socialist leaders, we will be making the fall of Communist Soviet Union look like a hiccup. We'll go from a true democratic republic to a Banana Republic, and it will be fast.
COOPER&BURNETT
This is NOT what the average Democrat wants. This is now an EXTREME RADICAL left. Many are infighting. It's just TOO radical for them. (plus were going broke as a nation)P.S. Even the Gay Community now says OBAMA betraid them, and thier interests. Richie Rich
LA Rep: ObamaCare Opponents Want to Destroy ‘First President Who Looks Like Me’"They are spreading fear and they're trying to see that the first president who looks like me -- fails." "People look at the United States as a country that has changed it's way and elected someone from Kenya and Kansas, I'll put it like that." KABC’s Michael Linder was the only broadcast reporter at Thursday night’s town hall health care debate at Wade AME Church when Rep. Diane Watson [D] made some astonishing comments including claims that those opposed to health care reform are attempting to destroy a president “who looks like me.†Later, Watson praised heath care in Fidel Castro’s Cuba — and, it seemed, the Cuban revolution itself. The statements aired exclusively Thursday night on KABC’s The John Phillips Show.Video is here: Hmm - I thought Obama was from Hawaii. Maybe she got him mixed up with Dwight Eisenhower, as he is the President from Kansas (but born in Texas). And I wonder what Cuban -Americans think about all the praise and adoration for Fidel Castro. What a strange woman. Maybe if the extreme liberals keep saying this kind of wacky stuff, they will be gone even sooner. We can only hope.
