Lar Posted August 11, 2009 Report Share Posted August 11, 2009 First things first: I haven't been posting a whole lot lately. Has nothing to do with .ws, I've just been busy. Rest assured, I still check in everyday.That being said, I've gotta say something. I've visited a few other forums recently, including one I joined years ago (and was once very active on), and I've noticed something: None of them 'feel' like .ws. It's like this place is my homebase of operations. Some of the forums have nice people sure, but nothing touches on the camaraderie that's present here, at least not in my eyes. Heck my internet adventures don't feel complete unless I check in here once or twice (or thrice).I guess what I'm trying to say is I love ya folks (in a brotherly love sorta way)! I crack a few jokes too and so do others. It's fun to exchange ideas and opinions here and to share with the next generation coming up who enjoy MV and its cool clothes and music.I feel that many of the other posters who frequent here are my friends and we all share a common interest(s) beit clothes boats, cars, movies, series on TV old or new, and many other topics.I also hang out at other sites too such as some boating ones for info and parts etc and some car ones too, but its all testosterone there on many of them. My boats bigger and faster than your boat etc.or my car is faster than your car...who cares! Every site has their lurkers but here everyone has something good to say ................I like hanging out here better.It's a great place to hang out. At home or at work. This is the best forum on the net hands down!{At least for us kooky Vicers! }And yes, I agree with Ferrariman, it's the members that make this board but it is also our Administrators, Ferrariman, Caipi, and Sonny that make it all happen! Good luck with that, it's blocked. Not sure why.I also frequent the Depeche Mode forum at their official website (under the same name) and know a couple on there, but it's nothing like here. I've seen a few that are pretty good as far as everyone getting along goes, and one or two that's almost not worth the hassle of posting.
