I'm not sure if @miamijimf has seen these shots ?:hippie:

Yes I did Matt, thanks very much.  I especially liked the photo of Fla Villas, didn't have a photo of that place.  Looking for a photo of the Rio Restaurant on the river you see in One Eyed Jack.  Closed long time ago.  Anyone have an idea?

I'm pleased Jim - I had hoped you had seen the Hollywood Greyhound Track images as I took these this year as I thought would interest you:hippie:

A great 1990s shot of the now demolished  DuPont Plaza hotel and the Brickell Avenue bridge which we see during the U2 “Wire” montage in the Season 1 finale episode.

A current day 2018 variation of the shot I posted above. Above Brickell Avenue bridge and the former DuPont Plaza Hotel site.

Love this episode - it’s so well done and of course the episode lead star Dennis Farina as Lombard steals it. The locations are great - I noticed that towards the end as they leave the St Vitus on the water you get a great view firstly of Brickell from SE 15th road / The Palace/ Villa Regina all the way to the greenery/ Alice Wainwright Park. The next shot you see the Three Grove Isle condos. I’m not sure if they were this close to Brickell or if it was a super zoom - but either way it was off Key Biscayne opposite the Three Grove Isle condos.

Great photos.  Been there, won't go into details. :)  Believe it or not there were serious discussions a while ago about tearing down the old Dade County Courthouse.  Don't know the latest.  The preservationists fight destruction of historic spots but nothing is sacred in this town.  The Deauville Hotel on the Beach just met the wrecking ball.
