Shame Royal Villas have gone although generally location hasnt changed too much since 1984 - I was amazed to see the Ukelele ( or "Uke") was open and still trading with customers still playing pool .

Like Sonny said, "Dark bars and fair women." Matt- In No Exit the bar scenes of Zeto and Swi shooting pool were filmed at the Uke. In Bad Timing you get an exterior shot of Tobacco Road, Miami's oldest bar, but the interior bar scene was filmed at Gator Kicks Longneck Saloon, way west on 8th Street, US41 (long gone).

The missile test was shot at the Virginia Key public beach - just one set of rocks from where they filmed "One Way Ticket"

 Early Fall 1984 compared to 2020 looking north from Ocean Dr And 14th St.

A piece of trivia during its original run from 1984 through 1990 this episode was re-run more than any other.

Here are some original call sheets from this episode for those of you who have not seen them (I have more than a dozen originals somewhere buried in my basement). On one, the Ukulele Bar ("Uke Bar") on Biscayne Bvd is listed where Switek&Zito shot pool.

No big news here as we know all exterior locations already, but one new detail: the toilet scene on the airport was in fact shot in Greenwich studios (see below).

The Uke Bar at 10950 Biscayne Bvd is long gone. Here are some rare pics of the bar and the exactly same pool table where Switek & Zito waited.

BAR INTERIOR: WINTERHAVEN 1400 Ocean Drive

On @C Glides site the short bar scene with Tubbs, Amato, Gentle and Ramone is marked as unknown. GIven all other (all are known) locations in this episode, it had to be reuse of locations.

There has been lots of renovation since 1984, but some significant details reveal that this bar scene was filmed within the Winterhaven, with some nice decoration of the bar behing Tubbs and Amato. There are three static angle shots in this scene and all three have matches with the Winterhaven interior. see below.
