Could he be a one term Prez ? Are you guys starting to come out of the GFR yet. Since about Aug I've noticed a small increase on previous months. So at least we have bottomed out.For the last 3 months our interest rates have increased by .25% It's always a good sign as it means the economy is starting to pick up.

If a stong conservative canidate enters the picture, he may be a one termer...IF a strong conservative joines the race. The U.S. economy is showing some life, but it's still extremely weak. Many people have too much pride to admit that they are now sorry that they voted for OBAMA because they were so caught up in the moment, and excited. Those polls don't lie.Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's poll numbers have sunk below Dick Cheney's!!!

I saw another poll the other day that said 44% of respondents wanted W back. And this is the same guy that gave himself a "Solid B+" as a grade for his first year (an A- if healthcare reform is passed). Can you imagine what it's going to be like in another year when the mid-term elections are held?

There's one thing I know for sure, the HOUSE AND SENATE will be cleaned out in 2010.INDEPENDENTS will put it over the top. THEY helped put OBAMA and the senators in office. THEY ARE PISSED!!!INDEPENDENTS and conserveatives will vote them all out. That WILL happen.

A recent poll had the "Tea Party" polling ahead of the Republicans. Quick story about the economy. I work retail, and things are slower than normal where I live. Right after summer ended, it seemed like it was the middle of winter and has felt like that for several months now. Even the week of Thanksgiving (and I work at a grocery store!!!!)Also, I recently waited on a woman who paid for her groceries with cash. One of the bills looked old and much different. It was a Five dollar silver sertificate from 1953! It looked brand new except for the crease in the middle from being in her wallet.

People like when people stand up for what they believe is right. The conservatives did a ton of damage when they held office. I'm ashamed of them. People voted them all out to make a point...that then put in OBAMA, who is even worse than W was. When W went to war in IRAQ, all the news and the left tore him appart, and every night we had to hear on the news all the bad news, and deaths in Iraq. We saw Cindy Sheehan in every paper, protesters everywhere.OBAMA sends 30,000 MORE troops to afganistan, and nobody says a word. Where's sheehan now? Where are the war protesters? Why did OBAMA get a NOBEL PEACE PRIZE when he's at war, and sending more people to thier deaths? They complained that (correctly so) that the republicans were spending too much money. Now OBAMA has spent more money than every U.S. President combined....and he's spending more! Where are the people who complained about the republicans spending too much, when Obama has spent WAY, WAY more money, and he's a newly elected president. Where are all those vocal people? Where's the media? You tell me?

Today, the U.S. HOUSE just passed a $154 billion ($154 BILLION!!!) JOBS BILL. This is for funding for job training & transportation projects. The senate has yet to vote on it, as they are trying to pass a 1.2 TRILLION dollar health care bill. What would happen........if George Bush and the republicans were spending like THIS???

OBAMA may not have the votes in his next election.

Barry's drop does not and will never suprise me one bit. America wanted change and change they got I hope it's what they wanted. I didn't help this Chi-town hustler get into office, and yes, I did vote. What has he and his administration done in one year? .......Thought so. I did vote for George W and he's way better that what's in office now takin' the plane for a spin every chance he gets. Sorry, can't stand the guy...He's not MY president...I bet America would love to get him outta office, like NOW!! Now, he'd have my vote...Finally!...Had to stir the pot..Sorry Coup for jacking your thread, I just had to....Mike

Did you see the Todd guy on NBC try to spin the decreasing poll numbers on the economy and all the problems Obama supposedly inherited? I thought he was going to cry...they still don't get it!

Not willing to blame the slow recovery on Obama. Following the worst administration in U.S. history was bound to lead to a long digging-out process. But the prez needs to stop caring so much about being an international celebrity. I've been pertrubed by his naked hubris.

Obama can't be gone soon enough for me. His progressive liberal policies are about control of the american people and I for one still doubt he was born in this country. I even wonder if his goal is to bankrupt the country. Yeah call me paranoid, but I've seen to much to not suspect him.

The Man Who Would be King (If he could give himself such a position) Embarrass America Tour '09http://tinyurl.com/yb9uq6pYou should see the video. He keeps bowing like one of those drinking bird toys:
Eingefügtes BildEingefügtes BildIn 1936 America was segregated, lynchings were all too common, the KKK operated with impunity, and people of color were not treated with respect. Yet this man went to Berlin to represent all that was good and bad with this country of ours and bowed to nobody. He had pride in his country and demanded that the world respect both him and his country. Our current President couldn't carry his jock strap.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesse_Owens

His poll numbers are dropping faster than Tiger's shorts!:D:clap:

.... and they both play golf, how strange.:confused:But on the serious side, by the time Obama is at the end of his term, the only true suppoter he will have left is Alan Colmes, how can a man who can put military cadets to sleep with his speeches get higher polls anyways? He's a boring, indecisive trainwreck who poked a hole in this country's pocket.

I think its a lot more difficult for a Left-wing President to please the US population, than a Right-wing President.USA is predominantly right-wing. The left-wing is made up of a huge variety of different people wanting different things and to please all of them is very difficult!

USA is predominantly right-wing.

Not necessarily. It is just vulnerable to getting fooled by a "super-personality" like The Chosen One, who used his charm and sense of perfect timing to fool a lot of different voter segments, from the young to the minorities to the undecided, to the ones who believe the left-wing liberal bias of the mass media. He fooled a lot of different segments of American society, and was darn good at it. He is still in "campaign mode" to this day, as he doesn't have a clue how to lead, but he does know how to campaign. He does have extreme left-wing political views, and these are not shared by the vast majority of Americans, who will be either middle-of-the-road, or right wing. A small part of the population is extreme left wing, like him, but he used his personality to get elected by those who don't share his views. One of the most skillful acts of the con-artist's craft in American history. I give him credit for that.

WTF? Did our President just threaten to bankrupt the country if he doesn't get what he wants on Health Care Reform? A new low for a President. http://blogs.abcnews.com/theworldnewser/2009/12/president-obama-federal-government-will-go-bankrupt-if-health-care-costs-are-not-reigned-in.html

President Obama: Federal Government 'Will Go Bankrupt' if Health Care Costs Are Not Reined InDecember 16, 2009 3:01 PMABC's Karen Travers reports from Washington:President Obama told ABC News’ Charles Gibson in an interview that if Congress does not pass health care legislation that will bring down costs, the federal government “will go bankrupt.”The president laid out a dire scenario of what will happen if his health care reform effort fails. “If we don't pass it, here's the guarantee….your premiums will go up, your employers are going to load up more costs on you,” he said. “Potentially they're going to drop your coverage, because they just can't afford an increase of 25 percent, 30 percent in terms of the costs of providing health care to employees each and every year. “

He would have fit in nicely as mafia muscle - give me what I want, or here's what will happen. "Not very nice huh? - then give me what I want, or else."

'The Bow': A troubling metaphorThursday, April 9, 2009 Pittsburgh Tribune-Review President Barack Obama bowed before Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah at the G-20 summit in London last week. And much is being made of it in some circles. In the least, it was an embarrassing protocol faux pas; Mr. Obama is not the king's subject but his equal. The Washington Times called it "a shocking display of fealty to a foreign potentate." But "The Bow" actually was worse than that. It's a troubling metaphor for a deferential presidency.Think North Korea. It provocatively fires a missile that, though it fails to deliver a "satellite" into Earth's orbit, represents a technological step that advances the communist country's ability -- or that of some other rogue state to which it sells the technology -- to someday deliver a nuclear warhead to Hawaii or Alaska. The president's response? Propose nuclear disarmament and urge United Nations action, which, predictably, never comes.Think economics. Mr. Obama talks of defending capitalism but his actions only hasten the pace of the creeping crud of socialism. And he only undermines confidence in any recovery by fully embracing subservience to the kind of European policies that keep unemployment high, growth and innovation low and government not merely as some bothersome and wasteful middleman but as the economy's commandant.America doesn't bow, Mr. President. It leads. It's time you do so.

Now we know what happens with a President that appears like a weakling to the rest of the world. Sooner or later the bullies and mentally unstable will start kicking him around, just like what will always happen to the weaklings on any playground in the world:Oh, and he says Obama's new nickname is "Nobel War Prize":http://www.gotchamediablog.com/2009/12/hugo-chavez-calls-obama-devil.html
