Asp9mm
I know Crockett carried the SVI Tiki. Does anyone have any decent pictures of the training the main cast went through on the range, or any production pictures of them on set? .org had plenty, but in recent months they all got deleted from the host sites. There are also very litle info online and decent pics of the TIKI.Thanks in advance.

Asp9mm
Here you go:http://www.sviguns.com/tiki_pr.htmlA very expensive but apropriate gun for Crockett, has that niche market that the Bren Ten commands and the cool looks you expect Sonny to be weilding. Great shame it didn't get any real screen time.
Administrators timm525 Posted June 24, 2008 Administrators Report Share Posted June 24, 2008 I'd hate to even ask the price on a Titanium handgun.Probably costs more than the Brens are going for today!I didn't really see much of the gun in the movie. Bummer.
Administrators timm525 Posted June 24, 2008 Administrators Report Share Posted June 24, 2008 Holy Smokes!!!According to this site they run about six thousand dollars. Much more than the obsolete Bren's are going for and they only made 1000 to 1500 of them!
Asp9mm
Costly stuff indeed, but damned cool nontheless
Kavinsky
heres my opinion on crockett's firearms in the filmthey should have given him a Kimber 1911, Dan Wesson 1911, Smith and Wesson 610 or 1006 in 10mm as his primary that are much closer to the bren ten he used in the show then that tikihttp://www.bren-ten.com/agtman/id2.htmlwith the Tiki in an ankle holster.or theseSpringfield Armory 1911 3" EMP 9MM Pistolor a kimber Ultra Carry II
Kavinsky
and If I remember correctly the asp was a modified smith and wesson 39 with a skeletion grip and a weird sight system that never really caught on even thought it was featured in the John Gardner bond books, which caused a surge in the sale of some old, then new saab they switched him over to in the books.http://www.securityarms.com/20010315/galleryfiles/3200/3294.htmhttp://coalcreekarmory.blogspot.com/2007/08/ultra-rare-asp-9mm-special-edition-100.htmlhttp://commanderbond.net/article/4061
jama555
Interesting that the SVI Tiki is made in DFW, Texas, in the city of Gran Prairie. I would hate to know the cost of it....
