There's a few things that don't add up, like for example, Angelina's house must have the most flimsy door I've ever seen. There is no lock mechanism whatsoever at all, she opens the door by simply pulling what looks like a vertically mounted drawer handle. You can see through the gap between the door and the doorjamb and there is nothing that would help to keep this door shut. Also, the right upper curve of the door is cut out very uneven and not aligned with the doorjamb: Then, the doorjamb simply transitions into what is supposed to be a wall built of solid rock and plaster, and for that it's rather thin. The bedroom window looks like there's no glas in it and I don't see any mountains in the background as stated by you, just a uniform gray: To me the bedroom window background looks like a dark green wooden hill. And I doubt that they built a set for this short scene and even if they did: where? There was no film studio on the island (afaik). And building such a set looking like St.Croix in Greenwich Studios? Tom Posted July 13, 2023 Report Share Posted July 13, 2023 (edited) LOCATION FOUND: ANGELINA´S SCHOOL @daytona365 As Jimmy said she´s at a school on the north side of the island. The wall and stairs is still there, it´s simply on Carambola Beach, now part of the new hotel built on the beach that was empty back then. Luckily there is full street view coverage within this part of the property. The background of Tubbs on the beach was a key clue to find it as it looked similar. The "school" and the wall is around 50m away from the beach. One pic shows where Tubbs stood next to the end of the wall. The distance to the sea is proof. They chopped the whole mangrove wood area for building the houses. See evidence below. CASE CLOSED. Maybe the interior scenes were filmed there as well, but that needs more investigation. The wall and maybe house behind has been massively altered when the hotel was built. But the texture of the house wall is very similar to the interior scenes. ENJOY! Click to enlarge. The bedroom background clearly shows a wooden hill, several stone wall parts. The texture/color/type of stone wall is the same. Maybe the one wall with the conch door was fake, but there were too many walls in this "apartment" to be built in studio. We still had a couple of things to work out before getting started on shooting. It was winter along the East coast so they searched out a warmer location. I really don't know how we ended up there. I have no clue where he got the exact copy of the shirt from (bribed the costume designer?), but the green T shirt has shrunk! PS. if he really took the cosplay seriously he must have rejected an exact copy of a suitcase full of money too!
