Thought I'd just share this after I came across a thread about the prototype on the bren ten forumshttp://www.armalite.com/ItemForm.aspx?Item=24-15Eingefügtes Bildits now being imported from turkey under the armalite name and also apparently by EAA as well just like the tangofolio pistols.and accodring to this its made entirely out of steelhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHDEL6x0JEI

If that is indeed the case all it needs is a polished nickel finished frame and a hard chromed slide and it's there so does anyone have an experence with it here?

Armalite was going to introduce an AR26 in .45ACP and .40, but so far it hasn't been introduced. The SHOT Show is this month so perhaps we'll see the AR26. If so perhaps the .40 could be converted to the 10MM depending upon the magazines and if there is enough steel forward of the chamber.

Indeed garry, I'd rather have a 40. cal than the 9mm just for the fact that where I live 40 seems to be a hell of alot easier to come by and cheaper strangly enoughI dont know about converting it to 10mm thought, I've read the article from this guy turning his 40 call beretta into a 10mm http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=309592and while it is possibile it to me it just seems like it'd be too much trouble than its worth and I'd rather go for this, a hard chromed smith 1006 if I was going for a 10mmEingefügtes BildDon the vltor brens were preordered for a $1,000 and up and the real brens are now atleast 1,300 and up, the AR-24 is about $600.
