New, never worn Carrera 5512 glasses. With sticker and label and soft case. It has a brown/tortoise frame with green/blue lenses. Hyperthrust Posted February 15, 2012 Report Share Posted February 15, 2012 maximum respect to this collection! i'm a huge carrera addict myself and i own several vintage carreras as well as some new ones. the retro editions turn out to be pretty good, there's some models that have a real authentic 80s look, but qualitywise the original models from the 80s are way better of course. this shop has plenty of vtg shades:http://www.vintage-sunglasses.de/designer_Carrera-and-Boeing_filter_15.htmlmy favorites from back in the day would be the 5437 and the 5593. the 5512 looks great but it doesn't suit me personally. i have a blue pair of 5512's in good condition that i might sell if you're interested, i can post photos this week. I usually pay 1/3 of those prices. ^^The new retro collection is indeed very authentic, but vintage is the only way to go for me. The glasses have a history and that special feelling when you're wearing them. It's really cool to wear a pair of Carreras that was used in a cop show of the 80's. Retro fails to deliver such feeling.I like the 5437 aswell, looks very similar to the 5622, which is a classic too.And pls, post some photos of your 5512.
