Excellent! I walked around the whole airport but couldn't match anything up with my screencaps. I didn't have the escalators in my pics, just the counters. The counters are totally different now, right?

This looks nothing like I’ve ever seen at MIA - even the main counters are still recognisable during the “Legs” montage from Season 1s Milk Run. Matt5
Always fun to do this- the establishing shot of this building we see on Brickell Bay Drive in this Summer 1986 episode and last night by me.
airtommy
Quote Last I checked (in 2007) it was a smooth jazz radio station It looks closed now. What was going on there? Let's just say the magic is gone. The building looked so clean and nice in Matt's pics 3 years ago, but now it looks very run down. I guess in the Miami weather buildings need to be repainted often? The building is vacant.
airtommy
The windows are tinted but I was able to put my camera up to the glass and get a surprisingly good shot of the receptionist's desk. Amazingly, it's almost exactly the same after 30 years. Same desk, same ceiling lights and speaker, same wall fixtures.

Yes airtommy as you mentioned in 2017 it looked nothing like this when I went and took the photos further up this thread - and was occupied. Although not fully occupied - half the building was empty. The paintwork at that time was good but in areas close up you could see a little wear and tear but this is quite ordinary. With the humidity and large amounts of rain Miami gets this can age a building a little faster than usual. It looked very overcast in your photos. Tom
Interior pics of the torture house 530 NE51 Street, just next door to Crockett´s original home at 550 NE 51 Street, Morningside. Needless to say the house would disqualify now with that akward orange color. P.S. if someone ever wondered how much the CIA has to pay for a black site. The price for this house is 1.2m USD.
Tom
CONFIRMED LOCATION: Alicia Mena´s office @C Glide wrote on his website that this location was probably the same as the WLVE TV location at Love94 at NE187 Street but is still unconfirmed and on another occasion (murder site) that it is unknown. I can confirm now that all Alicia Mena office scenes was indeed the same location at Love94. The carpet (pattern) is exactly the same in the escape scene at the TV station and in Mena´s office. See picture below. Another small case closed. Edited January 26, 2021 by Tom

No, but maybe he did the crappy new layout that happened here today on the site that deleted the "latest posts" box on the start page. Hard to navigate now on the site here. Bad slump for no reason. Tom
EXACT LOCATION OF ALICIA MENA OFFICE; NORTH SIDE OF BUILDING, WESTERNMOST WINDOW I managed to find the exact office location inside the building. Key clue was the 3x5 block window behind Crockett, in combination with the unique background (end of white wall, grass front yard, tree, vertical beam outside and the bushes vis a vis behind the street. That is only possible from the right window (seen from the the street) on the northern side of the building=the main entrance side. See picture documentation below.

Tom
Two nice interior pics of Love94 with the same carpet as seen as in Alicia Mena´s office and Stone´s escape. Pictures from the website of Altman Architects, who designed the building and also the "consulate" shown in Rites of passage. https://www.altmanarchitects.com/love94-radio-north-miami-florida/
TylerDurden389
Wow, I drove right passed that building on South State Road 7 on my way to work all the time when I still lived in Hollywood. All I had to do was make a left on 187th and it was right there.

Yes, no need to look at the BluRay. The sign right above them says "Customs", the left one is a very long term but not readable looks like a directional description rather than a terminal name or number (I assume that you were looking for this information) and I doubt that it will be readable on the BluRay. Usually, VICE filmed in concourse D, which was renovated and completely rebuilt between 1984 and 89. But this scene here looks too quite for a normal terminal part, I rather suspect it was part of general aviation (another clue is the "customs" sign - in a normal passenger terminal they would rather have a "baggage claim" or "exit" sign, not just "customs"...? Tom
1985 picture of the Greenberg Traurig building and its parking garage under construction. Behind it is the park that can be seen behind Crockett and Maynard when they meet on top of the garage.
