Dadrian
If you are on the janhammer.com mailing list, you probably got this today. For everyone else, here's a link to a free mp3 that Jan sent out to his fans for his annual Holiday Greeting. It's not a Miami Vice song this year (again ), but it's VERY cool!! I'm not to crazy about the vocal part (whoever that is, david earle johnson maybe?), but Jan is kicking major A on here!!right-click this link, and select "save target as", then select your destination folder, and click "save":http://www.janhammer.com/BambuForest-Free.mp3 it's from a 1980 set called "hip address"
Administrators Ferrariman Posted December 19, 2008 Administrators Report Share Posted December 19, 2008 That tune is originally from 1976 album "Oh,Yeah?" lead vocals on the album were by Tony Smith. David Earle Johnson was congas and percussion.Interestingly enough the "Oh, Yeah?" version was a full half minute shorter with no vocals! COOPER&BURNETT
Jan put no effort whatsoever into this Holiday mp3. Yet ANOTHER letdown many years in a row now. JAN didn't even compose it! DADRIAN WILSON put effort into HIS Holiday music for us.Dadrian, in this case, you put MORE effort, and a BETTER tune out there for us than out hero did.Thank you Dadrian for giving us something to look forward to, and enjoy this Holiday season.Your biggest fan,-COOP
