mvnyc
I don't have video, but here is what they talked about:Don Johnson: 63rd Birthday PartyKelly is a big fan of Don Johnson’s, so it was a very special day on Live! when the superstar actor sat down for an interview. Kelly wished Don a happy “almost” birthday, because he will be turning 63 on Saturday, December 15 2012. “Yes, I’ll be turning 36,” he joked. Don’s wife, also named Kelly, is throwing him a big birthday bash on Saturday. However, Don has already ruined the surprise. He and Kelly were on their way to the 12/12/12 Hurricane Benefit Concert last night at Madison Square Garden in New York and asked his wife if she’d like to go and see the Rolling Stones on Saturday. Don is good friends with the entire band and Ronnie Wood had already invited him. “Must you ruin everything?” Don’s wife responded. After that, she had to tell him about the surprise. Don Johnson: Friends with Rolling Stones Kelly & Michael were both curious as to how Don became friends with such a legendary band as the Rolling Stones. Don said that he first met Mick Jagger when he was a struggling actor and the two really hit it off. Over the years, he and the band kept running into each other. Finally, after the success of Miami Vice, it became cool for Mick to hang out with him! Don Johnson: “Film Historian” Quentin Tarantino Quentin Tarantino is the director of Don’s new movie Django Unchained. Don revealed that he first met Quentin at the premiere of another movie of his, Machete. Quentin approached Don and knew his entire film resume by heart, including a film that Don himself couldn’t remember. Don called Quentin “a walking human film historian.” Don Johnson: Spencer “Big Daddy” Bennett in Django Unchained In Django Unchained, Don stars as villainous plantation owner Spencer “Big Daddy” Bennett. Jamie Foxx stars as former slave Django, Christopher Waltz stars as a bounty hunter and they are both out to get Spencer. Don’s perfect Southern accent was partially inspired by the cartoon character Foghorn Leghorn. Don said that Django Unchained takes place in 1858, during a very dark time in American history. The film touches upon very serious subject matter, but it’s really a love story with a dash of “Quentin-esque” violence and revenge. Django Unchained will be released on December 25 2012.
