Tom
In a scene in Hell hath no fury we see the backside of the long gone Senator Hotel (the backside of the Tides that was heavily featured in HHNF was directly next to it, just across Collins Court, we see the bulls eyes of the Senator pool area when Crockett&Tubbs pull up to save Alan Beaks to get shot) and the Senator had those thick outside window ledges that we see in the Child´s play teaser. These ledges are very rare as they do not appear on other Art Deco buildings on the outside. Just another hint that this was in fact the Senator.
Tom
Here is the best old pic of the gun deal warehouse I could I find (G&Sons writing still on it, 1036 N. Miami Ave). It was seen behind Crockett&Tubbs when they went to the Caddy after meeting Holiday in the bar (the building right of G&Sons was demolished years ago). In web archives I found the old G&sons website as it was in 2012 (the company closed in 2018). They had exactly the bakery and restaurant equipment we saw in the warehouse scene. Tom
LOCATION CONFIRMED: THE DOCTOR´S OFFICE - STUDIO SET They used the same studio set in this episode (DiLello´s practice) and in "Missing hours". That makes sense, since the latter was filmed right after this episode. I just recognized this. See proof below. That was suspected before, but not sure. Click on picture to magnify. Tom
some good older photos of 1036 and 1040 N. Miami Ave, the gun deal warehouse (still existing) and the bar in the neighbor bulding (demolished a few years ago).
Tom
I have finally found colored January 2006 3D pics of the long gone Coconut Grove Church of God at 3635 Grand Ave that was used in this episode and Too much, too late (Anonymous Gamblers meet). I found this location in 2020, but only had the 1986 black and white aerial to suss it out. The Ace Theater where Crockett does his U-turn is nearby. That was the key hint to find the church, as only filming the U-turn would have been irrational from location logistics perspective. The roof window above the entrance is clearly visible in the episode, as well as the assymetric rear body of the building. Unfortunately, the church was razed in 2007 and now a big condo building sits on the property. Edited May 15, 2023 by Tom
