I dined at Gol Italian Restaurant in North Beach where they filmed two scenes in Blood and Roses.  Somehow on Vice they make this restaurant feel large, but it is actually quite small.  Mosca, Gina, and the group sit in the far left corner of my picture.

The food was very good and prices are quite reasonable by Miami standards.  The owner (if I recall correctly he's the bald guy in the white shirt) was very nice to me when I told him about the Vice connection, but when I emailed him later with more details he never responded.  He's from Italy and a big soccer fan, which is why the restaurant is named "Gol" and soccer games are on the TVs.

Im pleased airtommy ate - perhaps he was too nervous to take the above picture outside of the restautant in case a car came screaching around the corner!

Ha ha funny and a great album too. Golden Beach is one of my favorite places up there it’s like a world away from Miami and so immaculately clean.

A fine 1988 episode from the end of Season 4.

Interestingly the end “Dangerous Game” montage as our heroes raced to Gina featured no less than 5 main roads/ causeways all over Miami way up to Aventura.

Yes and the colors are far less blue inside than your 2017 picture. It’s a nice location in North Beach but has changed names many times over the years. Staff were friendly and pleasant however. Has a distinctly Mediterrean/ Italian feel to the cuisine - recommended.

Mosca gets harassed by the Feds while he's buying flowers:

This was filmed near Mosca's house in Golden Beach at Loggia Beach Park.  The parking lot is only accessible to neighborhood residents, so I had to park near the Lehman Causeway and walk a full mile up the road.

They are headed westbound on the Rickenbacker and turn north onto Arthur Lamb Jr. Rd.

They go around the same curve at the end of Down For the Count Part 2 as they're racing to the mall .  The camera is in the opposite direction.  It's clearly not the same filming session because the triangle is sandy in one clip but green grass in the other clip. 
 

I was only 99% sold on this location.  I was considering Haulover Park as another possibility.  I went to Virginia Key and took a photo:

I still wasn't sold.  You can see the parking lot in my shot but not in the Vice shot.  My camera is higher than the Vice camera and the Vice shot has much more zoom, so maybe that's a reason.  Or maybe not

So then I looked at the entire clip again and now I'm 100% convinced it's Rickenbacker/Arthur Lamb Road.  Notice the white sign here.  That's the back of the "Virginia Key Beach" sign we see in the "Down For the Count" screenshot above.  Also, you can match up the short palm trees in both scenes as well.

Yes I agree I spent some time there too and this was definately shot there - interestingly in “Fruit of the Poison Tree” they use the same cut but must have been not used for “Blood and Roses” as the car did not swerve that way around the corner as it did in “FOTPT”, unless it was recorded for “FOTPT”?.

I liked the cut from “Down for the Count” (Part 2)on the Rickenbacker Cswy as they shot just before the turn onto Arthur Lamb for a short frame  and we didn’t see that often in the show.

The shot that was previously not identified till last year that I found thanks to @RedDragon86posting it and @Crockettt identifying the episode is definitely from this episode. Shot from just over the Carriage House condo at 5401 Collins with the Ferrari heading south past the small park - my photos of this location were from late April 2019.
