Inhalt:

Ex-VICE-cop Hank Weldon is stuck to the idea that Tony Arcaro, the founder of drug dealing in Miami, is still alive. He was acquitted in trial years ago and disappeared without any trace. His body has not been found either. Crockett and Tubbs talk to Weldon’s former partner Marty Lang to find out whether this idea could be real. They realize that Weldon was the officer who arrested Arcaro and that he could never cope with Arcaro's release due to a small technicality. Since then, Weldon has been obsessed to catch Arcaro again. Finally, they can unveil Weldon’s secret and the whereabouts of Arcaro...

Additional comment:
Zusatzinformation:

The first script version was called "Off the wall". In this script, Hank Weldon was named Jack Griswald.

My Assessment:
Wertung:

The story is totally driven by actor Bruce McGill who delivers a strong lunatic performance. Great colours, well chosen locations and a legendary final night drive with the Dire Straits song justify 4 stars. Brothers In Arms seems to have been written specifically for this episode, I still get goose bumps when watching this show.
