Crockett and Tubbs investigate against Papa Legba's voodoo organization that drugs people in strange rituals at secret places. Although they saw his dead body, there are signs that he is still alive and back in Miami again. Legba takes revenge on his successor and continues to run his voodoo parties. In the course of the investigation, Tubbs' cover is blown. He's drugged and left for dead at the bottom of an empty swimming pool...
Crockett und Tubbs sind hinter der Voodooorganisation Papa Legbas her, der Leute in geheimnisvollen Treffen unter Drogen setzt. Obwohl sie seine Leiche gesehen haben, gibt es Anzeichen dafür, daß Legba wieder in Miami ist. Er nimmt zunächst Rache an seinem Nachfolger und führt dann seine Voodoo Parties fort. Bei den Ermittlungen wird Tubbs enttarnt und unter Drogen gesetzt…

The usual top ingredients of VICE plus a menacing story and a very exotic voodoo mood created by well casted actors, inventive props and carefully chosen locations. Beside a good portion of humour this ep comes with an extremely strong song choice. Fred Lyle, the music supervisor, outperformed himself here! And: the viewer really gets worried about Tubbs...
Sehr bedrohliche Folge und sehr exotisch. Hat sehr gute Stimmung und ist toll besetzt. Neben gutem Humor besitzt die Folge einige der passendsten Musikstücke der Serie. Lyle hat sich hier wieder selbst übertroffen. Und: hier hat man wirklich Angst um Tubbs!
