Don Johnson - HeartbeatPhil Collins - I don't Care anymoreHeartbeat is an odd choice for grand theft auto' date=' most kids probably don't even know who don johnson is..and admittedly it's a cheesy song..It's gonna be hilarious. All of Phil's big hits have been played on GTA by now, It's a great song but I've overplayed it on ITunes before i even knew it was going to be in the game ..They should of had a genesis song too. Mama was perfect for GTAIV..That made me chuckle, sorry matt..[/quote']also Hall and Oats - Adult Education, I clicked on it and bookmarked it before it was removed from gtagaming and there was one or two others but I grew tired of them myself before I heard the gta song list was removed.

honestly I'm surprised this wasnt in there too.

along with Streetwise, as I would have honestly preferred that over heartbeat, although I can just see the ben buja blooper videos with that playing in the background now.the funny thing is though that people who saw that video list at gtagaming, clicked on it and all that before it was taken down and posted Hey this song is in GTA 5 comments of those youtube links if you want to track it down, although I'm just gonna wait and avoid looking it up because of the possible spoilershell just even doing a brief search there's apparently a new trevors theme as well.and this was the song used in the latest trailer toohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18Ag3gWE_Nwhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0jul2OhtrYI guess just like one of the early trailers of GTA 4, at 1:19
they wanted to support the indie scene too, too much woohooing for my taste.

and as for the idea that the game is a British paranoid parody of america, well I saw this when looking up some old insturmental tracks from GTA 4 that seems to confirm it

I guess that explains why it was bothering me and starting to badly annoy me in certain aspects, its not us making fun of ourselves its someone else from a different country now located in new york doing it without doing there research first.and sorry I had to double post because of the videos, as I honestly like Sage's from that guy with the glasses picks with hall and oats there. http://blip.tv/sagereviews/the-top-20-best-number-one-songs-6631553 over that hall and oats song they chose. and no J Geils band or Talking Heads music either? Freeze Frame would be hilarious for GTA 5

While we're on the subject of the soundtrack of the game, does anybody think this song from the official gameplay trailer sound a bit Vice or something that Jan Hammer would write?(Link below) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NFO2wwWN1IThe game is meant to represent modern day Cali, but it has a bit of an 80's influence, which is very good, the gameplay elements are a cross between Max Payne 3 and Midnight Club and Red Dead Redemption which is also a great thing, combining each game elements in one.

They are using a Don Johnson song in the new game!?!I would have never thought they would use his song. They should make a new Vice City.I got VC on PS2 and it is a classic alright!I love how in VC they didn't bathe the soundtrack with songs that you hear all the time.Imagine a new Vice City game today with all the improved graphics since VC's release. The new Vice City would have an awesome soundtrack, cars, scenery, graphics, and more MV references!Im not much into the new GTA games, but the new GTA sounds pretty good.Isn't a Philip Michael Thomas song going to be in it too?

I don't think any Philip Michael Thomas songs are in the game, although I think it's cool now that technically Rockstar has featured both Crockett & Tubbs in the GTA series. Too bad they don't go for celebrity voice actors anymore, Don Johnson would be a good pick for a future GTA even in a smaller role. As far as a new Vice City goes, as much as I'd personally love GTA VI to be Vice City Rockstar have said that the game was more about the era it was set in and not the city itself so I don't know how likely it is we will see another Vice City unless they plan on doing another '80's era game or a Neo-'80's type game where it's set in modern day with some modern technology but the look and feel of it are reminiscent of the '80's.
