Whats the Hammer tune that you hear playing in "Phil the Shill" when Izzy first shows up and in "The Big Thaw".Its a good tune and would love to know where I can hear it.If it doesn't exist for play then I hope Dadrian Wilson someday might pick it up:cool:

Ahhhhh, good ol' Izzy. It's funny that a character on the show that wasn't even part of the regular cast got his own tune associated with him an it suits Izzy perfectly :thumbsup:I would have thought Jan would've included it on his double CD set but it's not. I wish he would have included all the material he wrote on CD but at least we got what we did...

Great little tune. Since we are on Izzy, thought it would be interesting to re-post the names of all the Izzy episodes. Needless to say he was an important Vice character.Martin Ferrero"Miami Vice" (23 episodes, 1984-1990)Brother's Keeper (16 September 1984) - Trini DeSotoThe Great McCarthy (16 November 1984) - Izzy MorenoMade for Each Other (8 March 1985) - Izzy MorenoNobody Lives Forever (29 March 1985) - Izzy MorenoWhatever Works (4 October 1985) - Izzy MorenoBought and Paid For (29 November 1985) - Izzy MorenoPhil the Shill (13 December 1985) - Izzy MorenoWhen Irish Eyes Are Crying (26 September 1986) - Izzy MorenoWalk-Alone (17 October 1986) - Izzy MorenoBetter Living Through Chemistry (14 November 1986) - Izzy MorenoLend Me an Ear (27 February 1987) - Izzy MorenoBy Hooker by Crook (20 March 1987) - Izzy MorenoKnock, Knock, Who's There? So it is him in the first episode. I thought it was.Why play two characters though? It's weird, him being killed and then coming back from the dead as somebody else lol. But at the same time, no better person could have played Izzy.

Whatever it is' date=' it wasn't released. I cannot seem to find it in my Jan Hammer collection.[/quote']It was never released on any of Jan Hammer's albums because it isn't Jan Hammer. This is a cover by a musician named Rick Leon. He did many covers for us as a member a long time ago and he nailed this one perfectly!
