They should have been joint #1 - even if the Daytona was a replica!

I DO agree.  Nothing cooler than those sleek lines on that black beauty.

Spoilers down below for those who havent watched the video, and it is worth watching

To be fair with number 1 its a 1980's John Hughes Movie, and it's one of his highschool ones as well which are treated as sacrosanct with young people, just ask my first ex girlfriend (and that is not a knock against the movie/movies lol) and hell its even shot in the same high school as the one used for the Breakfast club

plus the iconic soundtrack by Yello which greatly outweights that it's a replica using a not so masculine MGB as its basis

although with how many damn 308's and 355's are on the list, and they left another movie out with one of them too:

Miami Vice's cars should have been number 2, and then Magnum.

and I guess the guys who did Tower Heist didnt know about the true color of that car:

that is a good nickname for the daytona though, the black lady, and sounds much better than the blue lady nickname that was used to describe Jim Morrison's 1967 Shelby GT500,

although I think they forgot a clip to stick to the end of the blow up scene lol

  • 2 weeks later...

What was the name of that movie with the black car and the bank robbery?

(with the car chase being the opener I wonder if the rest of the movie sucks or has any good parts to keep me amused?)

"The Hidden".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hidden_(film), an alien horror film from 1987.

I've seen it but not in a long while.
