COOPER&BURNETT
This is a MIAMI VICE Crew windbreaker. This item was a gift from Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas to the crew for Christmas in the First Season of MIAMI VICE! This item is pretty rare. The logo looks somewhat worn. Can't really tell if the logo is worn because of it's age, or because it was well worn. It doesn't look to be highly worn, as nothing else on it gives it that look. Nothing is scraped, faded, torn, or really shows any sign of wear, so it may be just because of it's age, or how it was stored etc. I'm guessing it started flaking by being folded. I don't think it was made to last for 31 years! More photos to follow... Another MiamiViceOnline Exclusive! Beach_Vice
Finding any windbreaker that's 31 years old has got to be hard to do. Crazy that you found this one! I remember when they were made like this. I don't think anyone makes windbreakers anymore do they? Everything seems to be a wind and rain coat now. Cool acquisition. Does that zipper open the jacket or is it a pullover with a seriously long front zip? The breaking of the print doesn't look bad at all. It almost has an eighties look to it that way anyway. Collectors item or wearable purchase?
COOPER&BURNETT
I'm not sure if they make these kind of windbreaker any more. They now make throwback logos on shirts that have that "worn" look to them. This jacket is not a pullover, but a zippered jacket.

COOPER&BURNETT
The crew windbreaker has a zipper on the front pocket. The sleeves have elastic to fit tightly around the wrist. This is the maker of the windbreaker.
Christian
I want such a jacket too! :-DLot's of wind here in spring and in fall.COOP in my opinion as everything looks it wasn't worn, maybe only around the production of the show a few times and then stored.I would say the crease in the logo is the result of storing it foldet. But the colours are fresh like in the old days, so i guess no light hit it.That is a cool item mr COOP Sir! :-)
Detective_Crockett
Remove the logo and it looks like something Sonny would wear in Season 4 AMAZING FIND COOP! I love all these rare items.
COOPER&BURNETT
There does seem to be a crease in the middle of the logo. I'm guessing it just chipped away over time. The jacket appears new. More pictures and features of the jacket to follow!
bluepearl
Bravo ! A real special new item what is getting even more interesting with the story around. Sure the wind breaker affects like new. These glued print on's by then were not made to stay for such a long time. Also the white material with the jacket is not really a 'cosy' place for these plastic emblems. There was no need to wear them much to get rid off them in the small particles like it happened here. Honestly to me it is more endearing with this 'used' look because just such an item should show easily WHEN it became sewn. What meaning would have a jacket looking like new and anyone tells : **Oh, take a look, was a gift by PMT and DJ to the crew during Season one !** NO ! This way it is much more special and honest - much better ! Thanks heaps Coop - you kissed the MV nerves with me again ! Great collectible.
COOPER&BURNETT
These are the type of interesting Vintage Miami Vice items that I love sharing with members here. You can be certain that there is no other website in the world that has as many Miami Vice production collectibes. Members on Facebook have said they want this item! The logo on the back of the jacket is silk screened on. This windbreaker also has a hidden hood in the collar.
