Tubbs...slinking down one of the walk-ways of the old Blue Waters Hotel, right before Bandi’s booby-trap bomb sends old debris & Tubbs slamming to the ground!

I always wondered if the hotel room scene, with the pink-tiled shower of Bandi’s bathroom, was filmed in an actual bathroom of one of the Blue Waters’ old rooms...or was just a quick sound-stage setup? ?(

wasn't that thing just a ruin. isn't the same place where Tubbs plays an homeless once. looks like an abandonned building? the view is gorgeous though

Yes, the old abandoned Blue Waters Hotel was featured in “The Maze”...where Tubbs plays a homeless guy, and “French Twist”...where supposedly the Blue Waters wasn’t abandoned, but a flea-bag ‘dive’ where the assassin Bandi was staying.

It was abandoned by the time MV used it for filming, but I don’t think it had been abandoned for as long as “The Maze” made it seem...I read once they added graffiti, punched out more holes and ripped up  stuff to make it look worse for the episode. I think the hotel was condemned in the early 80s (80-81) and Maze was filmed in 84. But I think it was in pretty bad shape by the time it closed, so I doubt it took that long for it to deteriorate further once it was officially shut down.

Sad...Art Deco hotel that could have been saved at one time. :(
