RedDragon86 5,973 Posted February 18, 2019 (edited) Report Share I wish they gave Lester more episodes as the tech guy, for example he should have been in "Lend Me An Ear" and "The Fix" where they were bugging offices and houses. Edited February 18, 2019 by RedDragon86 Quote Link to comment
Robbie C. 3,195 Posted February 18, 2019 Report Share I agree. But Vice was really a three-dog show (Crockett, Tubbs, and Castillo). And given writer turnover I think they really struggled to widen the focus beyond that. Heck, they had enough trouble keeping Crockett's background straight... Quote Link to comment

I just mean that Lester should have gone along with them to bug more properties, like 5 minute screen time here and there, like he did in "No Exit" , "Lend Me An Ear" would be a perfect example, just more small roles from time to time. I know what you meant. But I still think the rolling writer issue, as well as Mann's effective departure, really worked against even those small roles. Just look how often Stan and Larry disappear. Good point – new writers/directors probably wanted more time with Crockett/Tubbs/Castillo than investing time in others Quote Link to comment
