...speaking of re-used actors ...that cat could have been seized from the busted bookie in 'one eyed jack' and Gina just took it home and be the new mammy...and same story with the kitty from 'death and the lady'.

I thought that too, about the Death and the Lady one!  Sonny handed the kitten to her, as I remember with some comment about her own  cat having gone missing or something. I did wonder if he too liked cats as he had one climbing  all over him in One Way Ticket, I think it was.
