summer84 2,000 Posted June 3, 2019 Report Share "Thanks partner" Season 1 to me was classic Vice. Loved it! The language/dialogue was different with the use of police and street slang. S2 seemed a bit more polished in that sense. A lot of cultural references were used in this episode and overall in Season 1. The early episodes had a 60s or 70s style look to it. For instance this episode with how Tubbs was dressed and the FBI agents. Also the part, Tubb's character played was almost as important in the forefront along with Crockett. Which episodes and scenes like this examplify. 1 Quote Link to comment
Robbie C. 3,194 Posted June 4, 2019 Report Share I'd say that was Yerkovich's influence carrying through, at least in part. Quote Link to comment
daytona365 1,396 Posted July 26, 2019 (edited) Report Share Crockett had a much more rugged look in the early episodes which to me, was more credible. Even the designer clothes looked more crumpled and carelessly worn, as visible in this pic. This changed quickly however already after only a few episodes.
