Another strong and great episode made after "Brother's Keeper." With to me an unexpected shocking and sad ending. Did Artie end up killing himself because, he was filled with guilt of all the crimes he had committed during his time undercover or was it just a realization of that he couldn't go back to an ordinary life?

Artie simply could not face a normal life again.

This is certainly what they are thinking. The use of mirrors is also interesting. When they enter Artie's apartment near they end, Crockett is seen going back and forth past a section of mirrors. At they end Crockett mentions mirrors at the amusement park and Tubbs say its not a reflection of you it the job. The metaphor is there, and I think they worry about their identity and who they really are.
