Kind of unimportant, but does anyone remember in the scene in this episode where they call each other "man" like every sentence? Thought it was kind of odd.

When they are on the boat reminiscing about being in country? Crockett even says “dig it” or something lol. I guess they had slipped back into their old lingo haha

It might also have been positioned as a subtle clue that Stone was a junkie himself. Personally I think Stone fit the stereotype of the Saigon correspondent who covered the war from the Caravel Hotel or some seedy whorehouse and never really went into the field.

'60s actually. It got widespread use on '70s TV and shows that were supposed to be set in the '70s. The web may claim it's the '70s, but the Monkees used it in a lyric in 1968. Google is not always your friend...:)
