RedDragon86 5,973 Posted June 13, 2019 Report Share This white sports jacket is my favorite. Same as the one at they end of Lombard? Quote Link to comment
Dadrian 8,676 Posted June 14, 2019 Report Share I think so. It’s almost like a shirt that zips. Quote Link to comment

Damn, I loved this episode, and this interaction was a big reason why. When Barbara Carol died, a piece of Crockett died with her. She was the innocence of his past. A former girlfriend he promised to help and protect. His partner recognized this and went head to head with Castillo. ("Who's side are you on?") I can't help but feel the events in this story might have been the true beginning of the powerful team they were to become! Edited June 14, 2019 by mjcmmv Quote Link to comment
Robbie C. 3,195 Posted June 14, 2019 Report Share Maybe he found that piece again with Caitlin? That could explain the passion between the two. Don't forget, she'd lost a man in her life who'd tried to fight for her (Will, the bass player). Quote Link to comment
mjcmmv 2,172 Posted June 14, 2019 Report Share Good point! I never thought about Will as being a romantic connection in her life, but rather a good friend and colleague but maybe I should take another look. And if she was in love with him, then maybe she saw a chance to redeem this lost love with Crockett, another idealist who was fighting the "system"! Quote Link to comment
Robbie C. 3,195 Posted June 14, 2019 Report Share Maybe she didn't realize it until after he was gone. There's a very deep sense of loss conveyed when she talks about him that transcends her memories of the other guys in the band. She might also have carried serious subconscious guilt for the whole incident, about how his trying to protect her cost him his life and then she sees it almost happen to Sonny. There's very powerful stuff in their relationship that's often missed. 1 Quote Link to comment

There's very powerful stuff in their relationship that's often missed. That's another good point. Caitlin defends herself to Crockett, telling him why she's going to testify; talks about Will being hung in the shower, but she never mentions if they had a more personal relationship. Yet, Sonny reads a note Will leaves for her that seems to intimate they had feelings for one another. Wish that had been explored! Edited June 14, 2019 by mjcmmv Quote Link to comment
Robbie C. 3,195 Posted June 14, 2019 Report Share She and Sonny weren't especially close at that point, so she might not have mentioned feelings to him for that reason. Just another of the many things the series left unanswered. Quote Link to comment
