Matt5 6,948 Posted July 28, 2019 Report Share Very nice - always reminds me of Madonna in 1985 - -86 also. That look. 1 Quote Link to comment
Robbie C. 3,193 Posted July 28, 2019 Report Share Always liked Margaret. It was a shame they never found a way to use her in an episode again. Quote Link to comment

Robbie C. 3,193 Posted July 28, 2019 Report Share They could even have used her as the same character, trying to start over in Miami. Either way would have been good. 2 Quote Link to comment

He didn't like her stealing his gun , did he? And then when she asked if he felt emasculated by it...! Notice SHE said "I like guns" and he answered "I don't. "All through their first encounters, she took the lead. Notice he was standing attractively dishevelled after presumably a rather rough session when he got out of bed to see her making that secret phone call...playing the feminine role. He seemed to like it though (apart from the gun)....new side of Crockett, eh? Edited April 7, 2021 by wolfie1996 Quote Link to comment

Nope..just watched that again and trust me there's no comparison between the two women. Only similarity is Crockett originally seems putty in the hands of both, so what else is new? But Brenda is a clingy, very feminine woman looking for commitment and Margaret is anything but clingy, dependent and girlish. She actually thinks (and acts) more like Crockett. The only thing they have in common is that they're both besotted with him. I prefer Margaret myself. Quote Link to comment

She wanted a true relationship, but didn’t understand the life of an undercover Vice cop, nor that at that point in his life, Crockett was not ready to deal with “seriousness”. Margaret was NOT a good or caring person...not wanting or ready for a true relationship either. She was a femme fatale...a manipulator, a user, a fake. She was “poison”, just like Valerie with Tubbs—ironically both women were in NY. Pretty on the outside, but bite into the “big apple”, and there’s a lot of worms squirming around in there. 1 Quote Link to comment

Agree with your comments but as I can't stand the clingy types who talk about marriage on the second date, I have to go with Margaret Not one of the "good guys" but I liked her assertiveness and confidence. New York seems to breed tough women! Maybe you have to be, to survive there! Quote Link to comment
