This was a powerful picture for me. Sonny thinking about the past, struggling with the knowledge that he has. So much soul-searching and indecision. 

Aside from all the other heights of perfection in this episode, I’ve always thought Sonny’s hair was the perfect length and style in Evan. He’s looking his best in every shot.

Yes this was done so well in “Evan” not quite as well in “Buddies” but you could see and feel Crockett’s struggle.

I think this had more to do with DJ than the episode in Buddies, actually. He always seemed uncomfortable in the Vietnam-themed ones dealing with Crockett. Evan, even though it doesn't line up with Crockett's background, might have been easier for him to do.
