re: Tubbs and Trudy as a couple:

Tubbs had the opportunity on at least 2 occasions that come to mind.

Trudy made fun of it too in Streetwise, when she tells him he had his chance.

There’s another easily missed exchanged at OCB in one episode where Tubbs makes a barely audible remark, to which Trudy replies with something like “In your dreams”. Maybe season 3 or 4? Anybody remember?

For sure! I get it that Tubbs was getting over Laura (she did seem cool), but Tubbs, just kiss her dammitt (I feel that kissing, or inserting the word "kissing" into anything, makes everything better; then again, I'm a hopelessly hopeful, head-over-feet romantic who just kind of ripped off Alanis Morrissette, so what do I know)! At least Trudy told Tubbs that he missed his chance in "Streetwise' (Trudy was in full form in that episode, and I think Trudy's MVP Mode is strong in general). Trudy just wants to go kissing, dammitt!
