  1. Season 3, Episode 18 - "Lend Me an Ear" In Duddy's house, he has these really cool freestanding neon lamps - I believe in pink, blue, and green (although we never actually see the green one, just the glow from it). There appears to be at least two each of the pink and blue, becuase you can see in the photos where they're located in different places in his house. Has anyone found these EXACT model lamps? I know there are other SIMILAR style freestanding neon floor lamps, but I'm wondering about these ones specifically, with the U-shaped neon tubes. Perhaps they weren't an actual production item, but rather a custom prop made by Mr. Neon out of Hialeah, FL (who I know handled a lot of the neon lighting for the show)?

  3. Interior party scenes were filmed at the Park Central, the exterior shots were at the Hard Rock, then Reflections on the Bay. The sidewalk and street lamps are unchanged since Vice filmed the cars at the rear of Bayside Marketplace near where they filmed Nobody Lives Forever. I will work on Hostile Takeover this week but hard to say exactly when it will be ready for publication.

  4. Those look very nice. Here's another site you can look at: http://www.nles.com/store/catalog/Miami_Vice_Sergeant_Badge-p-160.html and they claim to have an exact replica of the badge used in the show. And it does look like mine, which is the only item I managed to obtain that was used in the series. (gold shield and wallet).

  6. It's the 55th anniversary of the death of Buddy holly, Ritchie Valens, and The Big Bopper. Referred to as "the day the music died". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4yqhCypYfE

  8. I watched the episode "Out Where The Buses Don't Run" last night. Can't stop listening to this. It's from one of the best scenes in television. Better than Definitely Miami's ending, in my opinion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nw1HGS1MN-0

  10. I remember the title vividly from the 1996 movie, but I have very little remembrance of watching it! Don looked pretty bad-a in the trailer. Not sure what the el rey network is, sounds like Reelz - the channel I don't get, but need to see Steven Seagal. Two episodes so far, wonder if this is a small project or actually part of a pilot. Great scoop!
