  1. Oh yes - great themes. These three episodes were the last time we saw full length episode themes in the same vain as “Nobody Lives Forever”, Lombard”, “Dutch Oven”, “Good Collar” and “Lend Me an Ear” to name a handful.

  3. I love the themes from “Heroes of the Revolution”, the Season 3 finale, throughout the episode. Thanks to @Crockettt for posting this on you tube recently. Another unreleased gem from the vaults - this one from the Spring of 1987.

  4. I don’t watch Miracle Man either. Id have never gotten except the background is the only scene I can think of with grass and the skeleton of a building—at least with a season 5 Tubbs outfit.

  5. Mine do. It is a grayish hue so it isn't that noticeable. They are actually a little more comfortable than real Ray Bans, at least for me. They don't feel as "beefy." I do wear them more often than the Ray Bans but it is mostly because I leave them in the car.

  10. They only used this once? if so that was a real shame because this cue has so much depth to it. Powerful.

  13. That is a great score, indeed, Matt. Jan is playing a famous piano program on his (then) brand new FaIrlight CMI III. We all know this sound very well from “Theresa”.

  16. A recent not quite current day aerial of Brickell Bay Drive and Brickell from SE15th road (“Heart of Darkness”, “Hit List”) to SE14th St. The tallest building centre is the Four Seasons Hotel seen in the Miami Vice movie(2006).

  17. The Navy's Blue Angels, an acrobatics and precision flying team, will put on a demonstration over S. Fla tomorrow as a gesture to honor the self-sacrifice and great work of the doctors, nursers, and others who are fighting the virus.

  20. The same thing in Miami office of the Coast Guard in the late 80's. An E-3 making like $1,200/mo. was driving a Porsche 911 convertible and living in a high end condo just down the street from the Coast Guard office he was assigned to. I think he was telling the smugglers where they ( the Coast Guard cutters) would be patrolling and when. He was probably getting 5k/mo. for it. The 80's were by far THE wildest, most fun decade in US history.

  23. I don't think I'd heard of this extended version before. It's on the Spotify release and credits François Kevorkian as the remix. It looks like it was released as a 13th track on Escape from Television for Europe and UK. https://www.discogs.com/Jan-Hammer-Escape-From-Television/release/187806

  25. Yes, that's where I got it. Thank you for the heads up. I just found this on YouTube, too. Thanks to one of your posts, I learned how to download this music into mp3 format. Not sure it this is a copyright problem, so feel free to delete it if need be. Love Tim Truman!!

  26. “Black Mercedes” was Rick Leon’s title, which seems to be more well-known and accepted. That title was used for the DVD rip posted by Crockettt. It’s great, but there are still some sounds from the show faintly present (unavoidably). Have you seen this, @alijax? It’s from a European disc, so a whole step higher in pitch than the original US version: It’s a GREAT channel for MV score music!
