Back in the old days, fans of TV shows would create newsletters or "letterzines". There were newspaper clippings and other notes, but the bulk of the letterzine was letters written in by fans. Basically a primitive message board. I had no idea this world existed. It's pretty cool that people had a venue for chatting about Vice before the World Wide Web was invented! https://fanlore.org/wiki/List_of_Miami_Vice_Fanzines Excerpts from the letterzine named "Bernay's Cafe" have been posted here: https://fanlore.org/wiki/Bernay's_Cafe I'm surprised Cooper&Burnett didn't have these in his collection of memorabilia. Have these ever shown up on eBay?3 points

OK, here goes... this list WILL change, but at the moment... 1. Audrey Matson as Sara Davis in "Yankee Dollar." 2. Lisa Vidal as Angel Montepina in "A Bullet for Crockett." 3. Elizabeth Berridge as Julia Scianti in "The Lost Madonna." 4. Debra Feuer as Celeste in "Redemption in Blood." More to come... there were so many...2 points

There is a version of the Wolfies shot without the dark Daytona hood. It´s easy to cut that part of if needed. Or they shot several versions. Usually, you send out a second unit team with the stunt doubles to film a bunch of scenes in one area to gather as much material (short snippets, shots of buildings, etc.) as possible that the cutter can use later on as inserts. They did that not often and not regularly but as often as needed. In season 1, they filmed such scenes in the 20/21th street block, as can easily be seen in "Home Invaders" when DJs double Bobby Foxworth can be seen in slow motion driving along the Gayety/Wolfies block stretch between 20-21 Street. Once they introduced the white Testarossa they did that bunch car scene filming again to get a lot of car drives. No, I was not part of the crew (I wish it was). But I know a bit about moviemaking, MV and I lived once in Miami Beach. Wolfies was a great restaurant at that time, by the way.1 point

I think @Crockettt should have 10 points taken away for being so familiar with Hell Hath No Fury.1 point

there is a 6:58' remix version of "Cry" which I think is the one that was used on the episode. Maybe the person whop posted that trivia record on imdb took it to be a JH tune, as it has extended instrumental parts.1 point

I look at it this way. As long as you feel good in your Vice clothing the muscle tone does not matter. If you walk around with confidence as you dress like Crockett or Tubbs others will notice in a good way.1 point

“Hanging by a Thread” great song which came out a year before Mike Rutherford, founding member of M and M as well as Genesis, released Invisible Touch with Collins and Genesis. The 1986 Invisible Touch album had many songs that would have worked in Miami Vice as it was quite a So-Peter Gabriel sounding album. No tracks were used in the show till 1989 in the final episode -“Land of Confusion”.1 point

Nancy Valen: 2nd pic isn't as good, but those who know this show well enough remember her as the hooker that asks Sonny for a light in "The Great McCarthy" episode. The first pic is from "The Home Invaders", and for all I know she might actually be playing the same character. I first saw her on an episode of "Saved by the Bell" and it might've been the first time I got butterflies in my stomach for an actress that WASN'T Tiffany Amber Thiessen lol. I was probably about 7 at the time. Danica McKellar (Winnie Cooper from "The Wonder Years") was my other big crush back then. Even now as a adult I still prefer brunettes over blondes and I think these ladies are the reason why.1 point
