  1. I think I have made myself a birthday present and just found the Deliver us from evil house with the triple murder in the teaser. Best of all, I just started to look 5 minutes before. NEW LOCATION FOUND? TEASER HOUSE OF DELIVER US FROM EVIL It is a great fit (I would say at least 95%) as I will show below, but it is not 100% sure, read along why: 4994 Hammock Lakes Drive, Coral Gables PROs (arguments in favor): this house fulfills 9 major criteria (are marked in red in the pics with 1-5 and on additional pics): 1. The triangle shaped top looks exactly the same with 1 vertical divider(similar to the LAFS house of Carol as Airtommy mentioned above) 2. the big rectangular block of glass window below fits (also with 6 divided blocks in one horizontal row) 3. the big block (no windows) on OUR right side in the episode pic matches with the aerial from above and behind, where we see a big block to the left of the main building part (the building seems to be asymetric as a whole on the front with this respect) 4. The building stretch to the right (seen from the front) matches with the aerial from above, also it seems to be on the episode pic that this stretch to the right is at an angle, not just in-line with the other parts of the front line. That also matches. 5. Left of the main part the building stretches to the left but only on the ground floor, the left part of the second floor is empty 6. The house is far fro the road with a circle driveway within a nice wood. That seems to match (wood-yes, circle driveway cannot be seen from above) 7. The half round glass brick wall on the back of the ground floor (behind Louis in the episode, behind him is a garden outside) is there too! 8. There is a unique diagonal partial structure on the side of the house in the side aerial. This part that sticks out can also be seen on the episode still. 9. This house was built in 1987. Same year as the LAFS house and just a few months before filming this episode in March 1988 All above is more than a coincidental look-alike can explain. CONs (or why it is not 100% sure): 1. the house has no realtor pics on the internet 2. The Google Street View does not work in this street, thus no way to get a google view from the front of the house. 3. Lower part of the front where the entrance and its small triangle roofing is located is not visible on the Google Bird´s view. @airtommy @C Glide @miamijimf @daytona365 @Matt5 Can anyone of you or other detectives help me to verify it, i.e. try to find a front picture of that house to verify 100% that´s it the right location? P.S. If we don´t dig up better front picture evidence from the net, C Glide knows what to do next Sunday !? Thanks!

  2. Perhaps I am really lucky today on my birthday and my wish to find another location has become true. I think I just found the lost house in the teaser of "Deliver us from evil"! At least 95% sure. If you wanna know more, visit the location thread of this episode. Just posted my find there.

  3. I agree about Dennis Farina. Great actor, and gone too soon. I was always a fan of Bill Paxton so I enjoyed his performance in "Streetwise". But Ed O'neill in "Heart of Darkness" was one of the best.

  4. No. I would order them again understanding the price and quality they are, but one size larger now having tried them on physically which was the risk I knew I was taking. I have not received the 2nd pair yet, but yes they do run small. I ordered an 11 which is my normal size but I would order one size larger next time and get them in a 12. Not a major problem, but the big toes are a little tight. The width, heel, ankle cut, and vamp sections are fine for me. I am a D/Medium width. These will only be occasional wear shoes and probably short term durations anyways so I can live with the tight toes. Not worth trying to send back to China and exchange in my opinion. I personally never ordered shoes from China before (wonder why) and didn’t do my due diligence on them shorting sizes. Makes sense now since they are pint sized people! And I kinda wondered if I was going to regret buying two pair at once and should have ordered one and waited to confirm I was happy first before the ordering the second pair. That’s what a smart guy would have done, but hey, we’re talking about me here!

  8. Just thought I would start a thread on guest appearances who impressed you the most. Just to name a few of my own - Phil Collins and John Heard were very comfortable and convincing in their roles, the actor who played Marcel in "One Way Ticket" was great, the way he stood up to Crockett in the interrogation room was impressive acting. Fiona was simply amazing. Maria Duval was superb in "Killshot" as well.

  10. I've always been impressed by Dan Hedaya. He's played so many different roles and fits them all. From Nick Tortelli on "Cheers" to Schroeder ("One Eyed Jack") and Reuben Reydolfo ("Payback") on Vice.

  12. Hey gang, a few months ago I was searching for some Sonny esque white summer shoes. I have a few pair of the regular old white all canvas style that you can still get at Walmart for ten bucks but I wanted leather with some kind of “style”, whatever that means. Google search turn up some that looked promising. I saw two pair from a company I kinda liked for $45.00 each in leather and they were white. They appeared from the few pics to be ok but impossible to judge quality from a few pics so it was a crap shoot. The biggest problem is they were located in China. Great...if they come at all they will most likely be laughable and junk at best and if they are the wrong size, I’m just screwed. However they did take PayPal so I felt confident I wouldn’t get totally hosed for my $90 bucks in the end unless they did come and were just junk. I ordered them on April 24. First few days showed the shipping label created and then the movement to the edge of the country with an airplane symbol showing it was pointed towards America with a big arched line to good ole USofA. Here is where I get frustrated as it appeared the airplane never got off the runway or ran out of fuel in midair and spashed down in the ocean cause the tracking plane never moved. I kept checking their website and tracking of my two separate packages and neither have moved. Website says....Covid-19....expect unusual delays in shipping....whatever. We’ll be hearing that excuse 5 years from now on every package ordered. i email them politely asking for an update and why the tracking hasn’t moved in several weeks? They reply a few days later to “assure me” my products were on the way and to just hang in there and be patient. Ok, now I have to figure out just how long is an acceptable wait time with Covid fling the plane and all that? I knew PayPal would take care of me if I filed a claim but wanted to be fair so I waited. I figure screw it I’ll give them 90 days and then that’s it, I’ll resolve it with PayPal. So end of last week I get antsy and decide to order a third pair of white shoes from a US located vendor who’s would ship FeEx. I felt relieved to give them a try and order a pair for about $25 bucks I think. Today I get home and in my mail box is a bag and I can feel shoes in it. i said great, that company wasted no time sending me the ones I just ordered. Too bad I’ll be waiting till Christmas for the first two tho clear customs some day. Well, to my surprise the back was written in Chinese/or Mandarin or whatever that chicken scratch stuff they use is called. it was the first pair I ordered. The were packed in a sealed waterproof back with bubble wrap in them and paper keeping them separated and stuffed in the tongue of the shoes nicely. First impression was they were super light which is kinda what I was hoping for. Leather shoes with soft rubber soles. Not the kind of shoes you’d want to walk around Disney all day to be sure but for daily in town stuff they’ll do fine. I think they will go good with shorts or ever casual jeans without socks of course! The name of the company is Kauum, click —> here. The top ones are mine and the bottom two are stock pics from them company. I should be getting the other one, the solid one, tomorrow. I post pics of that one too and the third one when I get it with it’s specifics. I think they will work for what they are intended for. Light summer walking. Nothing heavy or extreme. Enjoy.

  13. Hello, Scot, thank you very much for the welcome, cheers! I am really looking forward to diving in deep and exploring all that the site has to offer, and am certainly looking forward to interacting with fellow members As for how I became a fan, well, it goes like this... I am now in my late 30s, so I was only very young when Miami Vice first started airing on TV. My earliest memories of it go back to the late 1980s and sitting down weekly to watch the last two seasons of the series with my mother, who loved the show, and I have very fond memories of doing that. It was mesmerising, there is something about 80s America that just had me hooked. I continued to watch re-runs of the series in to the 1990s and 2000s, and as I grew older, I really came to appreciate just how brilliant the series is. I purchased the box set of the entire series when it was released a few years back, and have continued to love the series since. I am also an 80s and general retro fanatic too, so that certainly hasn't hurt my love for Miami Vice either and I am also a huge music fan, especially electronic music, and names like Jan Hammer and Giorgio Moroder are heroes of mine in that sense, so that all ties into my love for 80s Miami aesthetic as well.
