Recently I noticed this really cool but strange painting in "Made for Each Other". You see it when Izzy and Noog meet with "Bonzo" Barry Gold. It looks kind of like two females engaged in an... eh-em, erotic pose. I also used my photo-editing skills to capture the painting without Izzy and Noogman's heads. I wonder if anyone would know who painted it?

Nope, ya missed the target. The range is to the left of your red circle. Your x is about at the end of the range building, now go to the left and down and you will be following the range building. I am at work now so can't diagram the picture but I can later. To the left of your x is a grassy area. That is the range and it has faint lines from concrete that mark different yardages from the targets. In the center of your pic are two small buildings. The range is just above them. The building in the center just below your circle is where the entrance from NW 103rd Street was.

And here is another Reds song that I love that could’ve been used on Vice. It was used in the 1985 movie “A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge”. Maybe it could fit in “Little Miss Dangerous”?

To be clear it is not where public works facility but behind it along the canal. Right up against the canal. It was in use in the 80's. The old access was along NW 103rd Street. The buildings are a bit troubling but the 1980 sat pic is more favorable yet not clear enough. The 1986 sat pic does show the range and covered area were there but trees help disguise it. Big thing is that the tower is there indicated by the shadow on the ground. Lower left of your 1986 sat pic. Your pic is cropped right through the covered part of the range. Not 100% but a good prospect worth investigating.

Very nice. I just ordered these off Poshmark. Got a more than few more saved for a later time, these were my favorites. I Can't do the typical plain slip-ons anymore. I need something with a bit of style to them.

I've been watching her reviews as I go through my run of the show. I'd say my opinions mirror hers for the most part. I'm on season 3 atm, and I'd say my only disagreement I've had is her thoughts on the end of "The Good Collar". Yeah, they could've ended with the typical freeze-frame, but seeing Sonny's reaction and how he deals with was important to see that the war on drugs was beginning to get to him. Sure, I would've preferred if they kept the tone of the first 2 seasons a little longer, but from a character standpoint, it was important for the show to go in this direction. Just sucks we didn't get more of that attention to detail for the rest of the Vice squad.

Many gated communities in Miami will let you in without the guard even talking to you. The gate will just go up automatically and usually the guard will come down and make a note of your license plate. Some like Star Island or Sunset Islands the guard will come out and you just say you're looking around. A few don't let in visitors, like Anchorage Way and Quayside.

Hey gang, a few months ago I was searching for some Sonny esque white summer shoes. I have a few pair of the regular old white all canvas style that you can still get at Walmart for ten bucks but I wanted leather with some kind of “style”, whatever that means. Google search turn up some that looked promising. I saw two pair from a company I kinda liked for $45.00 each in leather and they were white. They appeared from the few pics to be ok but impossible to judge quality from a few pics so it was a crap shoot. The biggest problem is they were located in China. Great...if they come at all they will most likely be laughable and junk at best and if they are the wrong size, I’m just screwed. However they did take PayPal so I felt confident I wouldn’t get totally hosed for my $90 bucks in the end unless they did come and were just junk. I ordered them on April 24. First few days showed the shipping label created and then the movement to the edge of the country with an airplane symbol showing it was pointed towards America with a big arched line to good ole USofA. Here is where I get frustrated as it appeared the airplane never got off the runway or ran out of fuel in midair and spashed down in the ocean cause the tracking plane never moved. I kept checking their website and tracking of my two separate packages and neither have moved. Website says....Covid-19....expect unusual delays in shipping....whatever. We’ll be hearing that excuse 5 years from now on every package ordered. i email them politely asking for an update and why the tracking hasn’t moved in several weeks? They reply a few days later to “assure me” my products were on the way and to just hang in there and be patient. Ok, now I have to figure out just how long is an acceptable wait time with Covid fling the plane and all that? I knew PayPal would take care of me if I filed a claim but wanted to be fair so I waited. I figure screw it I’ll give them 90 days and then that’s it, I’ll resolve it with PayPal. So end of last week I get antsy and decide to order a third pair of white shoes from a US located vendor who’s would ship FeEx. I felt relieved to give them a try and order a pair for about $25 bucks I think. Today I get home and in my mail box is a bag and I can feel shoes in it. i said great, that company wasted no time sending me the ones I just ordered. Too bad I’ll be waiting till Christmas for the first two tho clear customs some day. Well, to my surprise the back was written in Chinese/or Mandarin or whatever that chicken scratch stuff they use is called. it was the first pair I ordered. The were packed in a sealed waterproof back with bubble wrap in them and paper keeping them separated and stuffed in the tongue of the shoes nicely. First impression was they were super light which is kinda what I was hoping for. Leather shoes with soft rubber soles. Not the kind of shoes you’d want to walk around Disney all day to be sure but for daily in town stuff they’ll do fine. I think they will go good with shorts or ever casual jeans without socks of course! The name of the company is Kauum, click —> here. What MV song am I listening to right now? ALL of them! My “80’s Vice” playlist has expanded to 236 songs and over 16 hours of music. It’s got just about all the Vice and Vice-ish Jan Hammer I’ve been able to find, every song that played on the series I’ve been able to find, and a bunch of other 80’s music that I feel should have played on the show. (Most of it 80’s hair/glam metal.) For the last month or so, every time I hop in my Camaro convertible, it’s the Vice playlist, with my “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood/Quentin Tarantino” soundtrack playlist occasionally mixed in. (LOVE that film. Mid 60’s through the mid 70’s is another time I just GEEK into.) My Vice-ness is pretty strong year-round, but this time of year, but when the weather really starts to warm up and the evening light lasts well past 2000hrs., it gets intense. A big part of it is real nostalgia for the late 80’s; when I had just graduated from high school, a decently cool car (1964 Falcon Sprint hardtop), a solid girlfriend was into the fashion of the moment, had a restaurant job that paid really well for a guy my age, was playing in band, etc. And MV was just so huge and pervasive in real time. I dressed in 80’s Vice style in high school and wore legit Vice-inspired suits to every dance. And I had the soundtrack cassettes blasting on my Kenwood KRC-2001 auto-reverse deck, out of the Pioneer 6x9 3-ways I cut into the rear deck of above mentioned Ford Falcon. And now that I’ve been retired from Law Enforcement for just over 3 years, there is some real nostalgia for all the good times I had in my 22 years on the job. Just this month I’ve bought 6 different linen sport coats and few banded collar linen shirts off of EBay, and a pair grey-beige wing-tips off Zappos. (I like the Season 5 Crocket style.) And I’ve started watching the series over again from the beginning. Still holds up in every way. Summer of 2020 is going to one hell of Ride pals!

Having rewatched S3 I still am not a fan of the different style, darker tone or Crockett's haircut, it made DJ's face look different. And I liked how he looked in the first two seasons the best. I think "Cuba Libre" was the first episode, where the white suit was brought back, (which was nice to see, after watching Crockett mostly wearing those boring grey jacket's and green.) I'm guessing since the ratings were starting to drop. And after that episode some colors were reintroduced and continued till the season finale. The first half of season 3 had some solid story lines, where the second half was a mix of good and bad quality episodes. I wish, that new music had been created instead of reusing old Jan Hammer tunes, which were so associated/strongly connected with the episodes it was made for in S1 and S2, therefor sometimes it could seem out of place. Like in "Better Living Through Chemistry" throughout they used JH Asian music, which was odd and a bad fit. They sometimes just placed his music in bad places. Another example playing Crockett's theme in "Cuba Libre" could have been chosen in a better scene, than this non interesting car driving scene. But it's always great hearing it. And I liked the new piece "Klaus's" theme. It was mostly Crockett in the forefront and it felt as Tubbs just followed along was pushed in the background. But he got four episodes of his own, although I would have liked it being more equal or buddy cop like. Also often they showed the whole team joining in an undercover operation, which I liked. I think the storylines were deeper and richer in places like the "The Good Collar" for instance. It became predictable, that the bad guys were usually shot at the end. Overall I'm not a fan of this season, it's different feel and tone. I missed the atmosphere and tone from the first two seasons. But there are some episodes I did like and could rewatch again: "Stones war," "The Good Collar," "El Viejo" not because of the storyline, but the music and some scenes, "Baby Blues," "DFTC" part1," "Lend me and ear," "KKWT," "Everybody's in Showbiz," yes I kind of liked this one. I also think maybe "Theresa," "Streetwise" and "Walk Alone." I liked "Theresa" much better first time around, but it's still a good episode. I think my favorite now is "KKWT," as it's a personal storyline and I liked those best, it's maybe weird as it's one of the darkest visually, but the story was so good that it wasn't that important. My least favorite is "Killshot." "Better living through chemistry" had potential, but among it the bad acting by all of the guest stars ruined the experience for me. And I liked that Crockett was nicer to Izzy in this season. Also forgot to add, that Tubbs was really well dressed in this Season.
